"The hotel staff advised we could park for free by their lake but neglected to tell us that there was a marathon the next morning on their property /our cars got told away and had to pay £200 to get them back!! "The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room is very dated, a bit shabby and small but the bed was huge and comfortable, there was plenty of hot water, despite comments in some reviews there was toilet paper and liquid soap provided and it was clean. There was a tv, free Wifi and free parking. The continental breakfast was reasonably priced and there was plenty of choice. We were using it as a stopover so did not want to spend a lot. For the money we paid it was perfectly adequate and we would consider using it again."

"This was the 4th time that I have stayed at the hotel and it is just as fantastic on each occasion. The staff are lovely, the rooms are great and the restaurant food is superb. I have to give a special mention to Agatha who is such a lovely and friendly lady. Always has a smile on her face and made me feel very welcome. Enjoy your retirement Agatha!!"
