We stayed at Grand Hotel Menaggio for two nights and had a very good experience. This genuinely felt like a four-star hotel. The rooms were comfortable, modern, and well-kept, and breakfast had plenty of options each morning. The service throughout our stay was also very good. The location is one of the biggest advantages. You’re right in the centre of Menaggio and very close to the ferry, which makes it easy to explore the other towns around Lake Como without needing a car. For the level of service, location, and overall quality, we also felt the hotel was fairly priced. A great option if you’re staying in Menaggio and want something comfortable, convenient, and well located for exploring Lake Como.

Room was cleaned thoroughly each day to a degree I’ve never seen in the US. All staff cheerful and helpful. Head bellman (who is either the owner or is re-enacting the plot from “Roman Holiday”) goes out of his way for the guests’ pleasure and convenience. Fitness room could use a better treadmill but it probably is only used on rainy days (like my last day there). Breakfast Buffett is excellent especially with made to order omelettes on weekends.

We absolutely loved our stay here! Waking up to sweeping lake views each morning was the highlight of the trip. Whether we were sipping coffee at breakfast or watching the sunset over the water, the scenery never got old. The location couldn't be better. The ferry terminal is just a short walk away, which made day trips effortless with no parking or taxis needed. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a relaxing getaway with easy access to the water. We'll definitely be back!

Like-Location, pool and location and front staff. Dislikes, for a $1000. a night charge no closet was provided. The shower was a slip hazard, we had to lay towels down to prevent slipping. Not allowed to order drinks at the bar, when there was no activity.

The property is beautiful, the pool area especially is magnificent on the lake. The wait staff are great and the bellman try nice but the people at the check in desk did not make an effort to make us feel welcome and they didn’t explain the amenities or give helpful information about the property. The restaurant/food is good. The main level is beautiful, but the bedrooms and especially the bathrooms need an update however everything is clean The showers in the classic rooms are tiny. We had a great stay all in all - would go there again.

Major bus line opposite, major boat stop alongside. View incredible. Pool lovely - very clean. Breakfast very extensive. I spent a week there and was consistently very impressed. Town square three minute walk with lovely restaurants. Had an incredible week.
