"Friendly staff, convenient location in the old town. Plenty of places to eat and drink close by. It was a 20 minute walk from the bus stop where the airport bus dropped us off but that isn't any fault of the hotel. Excellent place to stay and I would recommend it "

"This is one of the Best. Cleanliness is the most important thing to me, and this place was immaculate. It is two minutes from the train station, and I couldn't hear any train noises. If I ever visit Bilbao again, I will definitely stay in this hotel again. "

"The location in the old town could not be beaten, loads of bars, restaurants and local shops. Having said that our room was so quiet so the soundproofing is brilliant. Check in was smooth and quick. Our room was well decorated, spacious and spotless, the bed was comfortable and linens a good quality. The only drawback for us was the open bathroom, although the toilet had a door the shower area only had a curtain. However this wouldn't prevent me from staying here again."

"The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, carrying my big suitcase up the steep stairs for me (I didn’t ask them to!). The agreed to us leaving luggage before and after our check in. The room was comfortable with good facilities and a great location. We were at the back of the hostel so despite building works and bars downstairs (at the front of the hostel) we couldn’t hear any of the noise. We’d stay again!"

"Al llegar, me recibió en recepción la mujer más amable del mundo. Me hizo sentir bien recibida y me dió un juego de llaves para la habitación y a la pensión. La habitación y el servicio: limpios. La pensión se encuentra muy bien ubicada a cuadra y media de la Plaza y la estación de metro Areeta. La zona es muy segura y bien iluminada (os digo yo, que fui a un concierto en Ereaga, regresé en metro y caminé a la Pensión a eso de la 1 de la madrugada). "I have recently returned from a 4 night stay at this hotel. As expected the hotel was basic but it is in a great location for exploring the area. The rooms can be quite noisy depending on where the room is situated and there were stains on the bed sheets and towels. When I arrived at the hotel I was told I could not check in until 2pm dispite the hotel.com website stating it was 12pm. That was the first piece of misadvertising. "This hotel was immaculate! Parking was extremely easy, but you must park outside the hotel first and get directions on where to park… It is just a couple minutes down the road in a private parking We at the parking was great and hotels the service was great! The beds were extremely comfortable and the room was very clean. The only issue we came across was our shower drain was not working properly. We told the front desk who was willing to have the handyman come back to our room, even though it was a Sunday, but we decided not to worry with it."
