This was our first stop in Bali & ended up being our favorite place. I am thankful my wife brought ear plugs, with Ramadan, the local mosques were blasting prayers at all hours. Our bed was very comfortable. We had a standard room on the street side so the ear plugs were nice with motorbikes showing up very early. Cocktails were weak. Exceptionally welcoming staff, clean property in good condition with good food. We stayed in seven properties in Bali on this holiday, some significantly more expensive but this was our favourite by a long way and probably the only one we would consider returning to. Good value, relaxing and welcoming.

Wonderful ocean/pool villas! We spent our honeymoon there and it was an absolutely amazing experience. The Spa is wonderfu- superb quality. We went there everyday of our stay. The ocean was secluded and perfect. The restaurant's variety of food and drinks was excellent. Our hotel driver, Putu, was the best. All of the staff were friendly, professional and just absolutely wonderful.

This is a very interesting property….driving up the very narrow dirt road…we had the feeling that we made a wrong turn! Many private villas that compromise the resort….restaurants were exceptional- food and service outstanding and the spa was next-level!!! It was a bonus for us that we had one of only a handful of bungalows without a private pool….which meant we enjoyed nearly all to ourselves the 30 meter infinity edge pool with view of the sea and Java’s volcanoes ….was better than a private...

Amazing place!

Amazing place surrounded by nature. Staff was fantastic. They all new who we were. They took good care of us and watched that we were happy. It is a lovely place. Food was excellent. The activities were amazing.

This was a nice bungalow for the price. Close walk to the beach. There is an outdoor shower and the bathroom is exposed to the outside making it hard to keep bugs out. It was a bit of a nuisance to keep closing the bathroom doors to keep the bugs out and the AC in. They do provide a mosquito net. Bed only comes with a sheet blanket, no comforter on top. Nice personal patio to hang out on and pool. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Note that Pemuteran is more remote so more quiet than the rest...

The staff of the hotel is very friendly and professional. Mr Taruma is always happy to give you great recommendations. The hotel has in place interesting sustainability practices such as free water refill to eliminate plastics and recycling organic material.

Stayed here to scuba dive off Menjangan Island. Area is very quiet, I think people pretty much only stay here to scuba. When first driving up to resort it seemed odd that it was located off very poorly maintained dirt road. Overall though, resort very nice - multiple pools, restaurant and service very good.

Rooms were in traditional Balinese style. Including the bathroom and shower outside. Beautiful grounds and very peaceful.

Beautiful property and great staff. Walked into town and explored on our own. Our only complaint was that the only option for dinner was at the retreat, which did not have much variety for vegans/vegetarians and was generally just ok.

This is a hidden Gem! Family owned and operated resort. The sweetest and most helpful people you would ever want to meet. The grounds and rooms are beautiful. I paid for an updated room and it was huge with a balcony with beautiful view. Excellent restaurant.They arranged a great snorkeling trip for me. I would suggest you take motion sickness pill before snorkeling adventure. The best snorkeling I've ever experienced and I've been to Great barrier reef

We loved staying at Plataran Menjagen. The beautiful Villa was extraordinary. The Eco-Friendly resort had every thing we had hoped for and more with monkeys and deer running around and coming close to our Villa. The Villa had a sand beach and lagoon. We had the lagoon and beach all to ourselves. The surrounding environment is gorgeous. Very clean and beautiful plants everywhere. A wonderful restaurant a few feet away from our Villa. April 2026: This is probably our seventh time staying at this incredible meticulously Puri Dajuma Eco Resort. Exceptionally trained and caring staff delicious breakfast options and views one can only dream about we particularly like Soka A, a charming bungalow in the upper pool area. Shell seekers.
