"I’ve been traveling to Como for years for business and Marcos is a good place to stay. It’s located near a ferry stop and is situated right on the lake with views of it. There are times of restaurants right there so it’s perfect for just popping down and eating. It’s only a two minute walk to the center of town."

"We stayed in the top floor room with the king bed and a sofa bed. It had a large terrace with a beautiful view of the lake. The room was perfectly quiet even when we slept in until 9:30. This is very rare to find in the city center! Two of my adult children slept in the sofa bed and said it was comfortable. The king bed was a tad bit stiff for my taste, but the pillows were soft and we all slept well. The breakfast was extensive with scrambled and hard boiled eggs, bacon, lunch meat, cheese, yogurt, pancakes, waffles, cereals, and pastries. A sweet gal hand cooked a big bowl of oatmeal for me. We didn't need lunch. The location was right by the funicular and a short walk to the Duomo. (It was also convenient to pop in for bathroom breaks!) They stored our luggage while we did a boat ride. I could not have chosen a more perfect Lake Como Hotel. "

"Beautiful hotel. Classic design. Bed was very comfortable and pillows were great. Our shower leaked and they moved us rooms without question. The included breakfast was quite good. The restaurant was spendy, but food was good and amazing view. They do offer a shuttle into Lugano, but it only runs every two hours. The staff were all very mind. Would rate overall experience 4/5 "

"Free breakfast was mainly bread and jam but free is free. Also free coffee. On top of a restaurant so expect noise until they close. Bit of a tough uphill walk back from waterfront but doable."

"There is nothing anyone can possibly say negative about this property. From the moment of arrival it was exclusivity and luxury at its finest. We had the most basic room in the Villa and I could not have asked for anything more. Giovanni showed us around the property upon arrival and answered every possible question we had... we felt like we had our own personal concierge. We have already planned to return. One tip, dont stay at any hotels after this one... it will automatically feel like a disappointment!"
