"I had a fantastic stay at this beautiful property. Stephanie is doing a wonderful job, I loved the design and vision, the history of the house and her passion for preserving and sharing it. The bed was super comfortable, my room was beautiful and clean and water pressure was awesome. It was my first experience staying at a bed and breakfast and honestly it was amazing. The breakfast included is restaurant like, so different from the typical hotel food. I wished I stayed more days and I would definitely stay here again when I’m in town. Thank you, Stephanie!"

"House is well equipped with everything you need. Check in was smooth and we really enjoyed having big table in open kitchen & family room as well as the deck to hang out together as a family. We did try to contact owner several times during our stay to inquire about kayaks that are said to be available for you stay. It was one of the reasons we booked this location but we never got a response and there were no kayaks which was the only disappointment we encountered in missing time on the water on a long weekend with lovely weather. We did sit on the dock a lot and would rent the pontoon if we returned. Jake's was great we walked down to eat twice. "

"The property is in a quiet location that is not far from Menomonie. The furniture was comfortable and the place has a lot of little thoughtful touches. The property owner always responded quickly to my questions and was easy to work with. The view from the patio and from the deck on the river were great. "
