"we were re-imbursed the cleaning money. The property was disgusting. Hair in beds, foot particles on range, on kitchen floor and dinning area. The condition of the property was more in tune with a hostel rather than a house for a family. The list of things that need to be fixed is to long. From patio doors that didn't close to stair banister hanging off the wall. There was only 1/4 toilet roll in the house for two toilets. We had to wash the sheets before we could sleep in the beds."

"We had a fabulous week staying in Pam's Plaice. It's a charming house, very clean, & really nicely decorated and appointed. We were given lots of info prior to the holiday & warmly welcomed. The mature garden is beautiful and the conservatory is a fab additional space in which to spend time. It has loads of really good quality kitchen equipment, serving dishes etc. You could tell that dogs were genuinely welcome but as it was so clean & fresh there was no hint of dogginess or animal wear &...

"Stayed at Little Trees because we were visiting elderly parents who live nearby. Nice peaceful location. The place was spotless. Everything was provided - towels, shampoo, shower gel, bread, butter, milk etc. couldn’t have asked for more. Would definitely stay again. Bed a little low and soft for me but actually slept really well. "

"We really enjoyed our stay - it was perfect for our family of 4 and our plans. The reason for 4, rather than 5, stars was due to a couple of things. At night, there was no blind for the front door so no way for privacy - neighbours could look straight in. We cooked each night but there were no oven gloves (we would have been happy to bring some if we only knew). "Pet hairs, live and dead flies everywhere. Surfaces had clearly not been dusted in weeks. Microwave and cutlery but no sink to use except the bathroom. Toilet brush had remnants from previous guests. Hot water was intermittent. I went a day unable to shower. The bed was comfy and location peaceful but totally devoid of wildlife"
