"The staff is amazing and are very kind and work hard to meet every request. There were a few points of confusion. Our room was not available upon arrival, so they put us in an upgraded room. The room, however, had a very strong mold smell and the AC struggled to cool the bedroom. We were grateful to move into our actual room the following day, which was much better, though a little bit dated. There was also some confusion around the location of breakfast on Sunday. "when we got there on Friday 16th. We were welcomed and placed in ground floor rooms in front of the pool. BOTH ROOMS WERE MOLDY AND SMELLED TERRIBLE .Rooms were not clean -toilets old and dirty. we were told that the pool will be closed by 10;00pm BUT people at the pool and bar were singing , screaming and yelling almost till 11;00pm.-so loud we could not rest or sleep.THEY WERE NOISE ALMOST ALL NIGHT . I will never go back to this hotel nor recommend it."

"Nice place to stay. The paintings in the lobby gave it a lovely charm. Simple rooms for the budget conscious. Located near the cathedral which was nice. The beds were VERY hard which was the only downside. Breakfast is uninspired but edible (scrambled eggs and pasta or rice). The pool was nice and they let us bring our own beverages and food which was great. If they can fix the beds, it’d be a good stay! "

It's not the most chic or modern in terms of interior and furniture, but the service was very good when needed and the room was perfectly comfortable for our needs. The pool is nice, too. I'd say this Holiday Inn represents great value compared to other hotels in the area. "
