The room left our feet with black grime on the bottoms of our soles. The air conditioner needed to either run or not there was no thermostat and it was so cold when it was on but boiling if it wasn’t. The pool and hot tub was such a catfish. It was the reason we booked there, but the seating was off the walls and on the floor. The floor was peeling. The pool looked disgusting and not maintained. And the pool was freezing cold. Breakfast had very limited options and the eggs were like water. I wouldn’t stay here again

Only one problem that I found was at because of the fires and the smoke was getting into the room. There was no air purifiers to help keep the smoke from getting into the room while using the air conditioning. I have asthma. I couldn’t sleep very well because of the smoke bothering my lungs. My suggestion is maybe to get some air purifiers for each room or somehow build a cooling system where it’s more done through a central air system. The room was clean. Everything was great. I left a tip for the cleaners. I enjoyed the two rooms because I went to a funeral up Merritt BC with my cousin she had the bedroom I had the living room thank you.

The property needs an upgrade, and there should be clear no-smoking signs. Some of the neighbors were smoking weed. The smell was really disturbing. Staff is super friendly, though. The price is worth what you are getting.

I am a bit conflicted when reviewing this property. The physical property itself is pretty old and beat up. The rooms are clean, but they have not been maintained with regular maintenance that is much needed. You can tell the hotel has been well used throughout the years and it shows physically. It does, however, look like they may be planning some fix up, like in the pool area. The tiles have recently been taken out of the pool deck area and it looks like they might be getting ready to put new ones down. The pool itself was great and clean. There is a waterslide that was super fun for both kids and adults alike. The staff were great, super friendly and welcoming, They were out early in the morning cleaning rooms and keeping up the daily upkeep. There was also a decent continental breakfast that was well stocked and cared for. I had my husband with me so I felt okay staying here, however, if I was travelling alone with my kids I would not have felt safe just due to the condition of doors and locks etc.
