"The staff are beyond friendly. We enjoyed our fireside riddles and laughed a lot with some of the staff. Our camel ride out to the camp with guide Mohammed was stellar. There was a stop for the sunset and some local berbere men shared their sand board with us so we could play on the dunes. The only thing I'd change about the entire experience is the dinner. "This was an amazing and unique experience in the middle of the desert. The camel ride and the SUV tour was worth it . I had tea in the nomads tent ,visited the old mines , listening to a life Gnawa show and lunch at Nora restaurant than camel ride back to camp .The host Zaid was the best host ever , he picked us upon arrival at 2am and drove us to camp than serve us a full dinner course especially made for us .I want to thank Zaid ,Mohamed and Fatima for making our visit so special . "The photos are simply untrue. The camp is in poor condition - broken chairs & lanterns; blankets thrown about; garbage strewn here & there. There is only one outlet in each tent and electricity was not always available. We had less than five minutes of hot water over 48 hours. Often one teenager was the only staff on site, and we had to communicate using Google translate, as the adults simply were not around.
