Nice boutique hotel just across the border in Belgium and just minutes away from the beautiful Dutch city of Maastricht. The couple that run the hotel are attentive and helpful. The comfort of the room was first rate. There's a little bus near the hotel that has you in Maastricht city center in 15-20 minutes (important note: Uber doesn't operate in Belgium but the hotel will get you a cab if needed). Great Local hotel near Maastricht, NL, some great local sightseeing, American Cemetery from WWII nearby. Lot of local people in the restaurant and Bar in evenings.

I stayed in this hotel over the weekend of F1 racing in Spa-Francorchamps. Very nice hotel in a wonderfully peaceful part of Netherlands (close to the borders with Belgium and Germany). I have been to Maastricht several times in the past and stayed in different hotels. This is the best one I stayed so far and is a very good value. First, it is close to the station. True, it is not in the old part of the city but the proximity to the station is very convenient. Drop off your bag and go.
