"I stay in Kefalonia every year, first time staying at this hotel which did not disappoint. Free parking on the main road which is only a few steps away. They have a hamam style steam room which you can rent privately to have the whole steam room for an hour. "

"We only stayed one night as we had to change our initial arrangements. Reception arranged taxi pickup from airport (30eu). Ok, a bit expensive for a short ride but enabled us to travel hassle free and get to know the route for next day when we picked up a hire car. Lovely surprise to have an upgrade for room. Excellent facilities and wide balcony overlooking harbour. Staff very helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast was amazing. Wide selection of fruit, pastries, cereals, cheese etc plus omelettes made to order. Good coffee. Easy walk to bus stop for airport. This is also where the ferry goes across to Lixouri about every 30 mins. Watched lorries, cars and vans backing into it. A bit scary. We drove instead.. highly recommend staying in this boutique hotel "

"Absolutely wonderful!! The room was comfortable, neat and clean.with beautiful views over the sea. Staff were friendly and very helpful. An ideal setting - only 10min from the airport, a lovely beach just a 15min stroll away, I also enjoyed a trip into Argoustoli, the capital, to see some turtles. A great holiday. "

"What an amazing little hotel. Hotel Europe sits up above Argostoli just 10mins walk from the square. It is up quite a hill, but its definitely worth the walk when you see the view from your balcony! Maria on Reception is so lovely. She emailed instructions beforehand on how to get into our room as we were on a late flight in and arranged for us to stay in our room till late as we had a late flight leaving. Our room was huge, bed comfortable, kitchenette helpful for breakfast & coffee, bathroom a nice size and the balcony generous. Rooms were cleaned daily and towels changed after a couple of days. Theres a small garage underneath the hotel that can fit 6 cars if everyone parks sensibly. Would definitely recommend and we will definitely return."
