The Old No. 77 Hotel & Chandlery

"I absolutely loved the vibe and atmosphere of the No. 77 Hotel! It has a really cool, unique feel and is in a great location. However, if you’re a light sleeper, I would definitely recommend requesting a room away from the first floor and the street. There was construction nearby, and I could hear every car that drove over the metal plates in the road throughout the night. There’s also a club right outside, so the noise can definitely be an issue if you’re trying to get a good night’s sleep. If you’re in New Orleans to have a good time, enjoy the nightlife, and don’t mind a little noise, I would highly recommend this hotel. I really enjoyed the hotel itself—I just wish I had been placed in a quieter room."

"Clean, comfortable, and fairly quiet. Disappointing to not have a refrigerator or microwave in our room for the amount of money we paid. This seems like such a standard thing, I didn't even think about double checking that. I didn't read the details that this was valet parking only at $50/day plus daily charges for "Destination Fee" of $25/day and state and city taxes per day. Adding $170.00 to the total. Just something to be aware of. The location is great and the staff is very helpful and friendly."

"The property was very clean. Front desk staff was nice. Housekeepers were excellent. Rome was very clean bathroom was huge. Bed could have been a little more comfortable. Pillows were horrible. Bedding was fabulous soft comfy.I wanted to bring it home with me. Property was fairly quiet, our room was next to the housekeeping closet. So at seven a m they were rolling out the stuff for the day. So avoid room 101. Check-in was fast. However, they put us in a room that somebody else was already in, not her fault.It was the previous front desk's fault. She fixed it very quickly. We didn't have any problems finding a parking spot. If you're not really paying attention, you'll drive right.By the entrance though. Felt very safe at this property. Breakfast was okay every day they have something different. Well definitely stay here again. Since it's so close to the highway. It's kind of tricky to get to the restaurants that are nearby."
