Top Mexican Riviera Hotel Reviews
Hotel Riu Palace Baja California - Adults Only - All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"Great place to stay with everything we needed for a 6 day trip. The property is well laid out with easy access to everything. It doesn’t feel like a maze like some resorts do. The staff were amazing and very friendly. Four pools, five different restaurants plus a buffet, daily entertainment, great beach, access to the next door sister resorts. What more could you ask for. Really enjoyed our time here."

Hotel Riu Emerald Bay - All Inclusive
10/10 Excellent
"I had an excellent stay at Riu Emerald Bay! Let me start off with the staff, they were all so helpful and friendly. They made you feel taken care of and remembered your preferences. Check in was such an easy process (you can download the hotel app and do it directly on there), you’re welcomed by Gonzalo at the front. All the receptions I spoke to were helpful and knowledgeable. I wish i remembered all the staffs names: the hostess at the buffet, Luis, Armando, the guys down at the pool bars, they all made my stay unforgettable. The hotel itself is in excellent condition, it’s well kept and the cleaning ladies were always seen wiping down and sanitizing. You have sooo many swimming options (5 well kept pools + the ocean with lifeguards every day). There’s plenty of lounge chairs for you to be by yourself if that’s your choice. The entertainment team gives it their all every night with those incredible shows, so hats off to them as well! You get so many food options and they don’t disappoint, it’s good the quality of the food isn’t overlooked by the quantity of people they feed daily. Location: you are about 30 min from the malecón and the rest of the beaches, but there’s public transportation (Green Bus $16 mx pesos-SábaloCenter takes you through the coast). I don’t have any complaints and already planning my visit."
Hotel Tropicana - Near Olas Altas Street
8/10 Good
"We only stayed one night in Puerto Vallarta before heading to Nuevo Vallarta. The Tropicana was nice, we booked a superior room withe pool view but to our surprise was also a partial ocean view. We did not use the pool since it was raining that evening. We look forward to staying there again for a longer stay in the future since we loved how close the hotel is to the ocean."
Barceló Puerto Vallarta - All Inclusive
8/10 Good
"It was a really beautiful resort in a really beautiful area. I think it lacks information on restaurants and entertainment. I found as a foreigner it was better accustomed to the locals. Which is nice to see but I have been at far cheaper resorts with much better entertainment."
