Puerta Roja Rome was absolutely perfect! The location was walkable to serval restaurants, bars & shopping. Andrea (hotel staff) was always extremely helpful. I'll definitely be staying at Puerta Roja again.
We really like Puerta Roja, our only concern was the mosquitos, there were a lot the first night but we spoke with the property management and they gave us a solution. We will definitely stay here again, Mercado Roma is just a few steps away and have plenty options of food 🙏🙏
This place was sweet. Cute, comfy room with a big bathroom. Great shower. Right across the street from great food and lots of food options within a short walk. Laundry, a patio, chill spaces, nice kitchen. Highly recommend.

Enjoyed our stay here very much. Excellent restaurants within easy walking distance. Great value for the money, kind and helpful staff. The room and other facilities were very chic and in good condition. The only 2 issues were the poor quality of the pillows and the door lock stopped working before departure.

The service is impeccable. Andrea is there to help with anything you need and goes above and beyond for guests. the hotel is so cute with plenty of outdoor areas to chill, or in your room which is so well designed with the most comfortable bed ever. Would definitely recommend and would definitely come back here again.
The staff at the property are excellent. Very accommodating and particularly Andrea and the maintenance staff, I recommend for a short stay in CDMX. The room was comfortable and well designed. The location is great, (just some noise at the weekends for light sleepers but that’s the same for the whole city and didn’t bother me). Will be happy to come back again.
Excelent spot, quiet clean, washer dryer, very comfortable king size bed (in room 1), Andrea the lady that works there is extremely helpful, kind and knowledgeable. I didnt have any cash to leave a tip and feel bad. The place was spotless which is rare in that privlce range.
The room was too small for our luggage. We had 4 pieces and the room was not equipped with space to put all of the pieces and no luggage racks. I guess larger rooms are on the ground floor. Very difficult to carry large suit cases up the stairs too. We found the bed very comfortable and the room was very quiet. We slept well after flying 30hrs from India. Location was excellent with great restaurants near by.
We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Puerta Roja! Andrea the housekeeper was so attentive. The jacuzzi was such a nice addition, we wish we had time to use it more! The room was spacious and we had no problems with hot water, it takes a few minutes to warm up but once it’s hot it stays hot. The rooftop also is a great place to hang or work. Highly recommend!
Nicely appointed rooms, very comfortable bed. Slightly warm as no AC, but it does cool down at night in CDMX. Worth paying slightly more for the rooms with a patio as then you can have the door to the room open but still privacy. These are upstairs though so less ideal if you have heavy luggage you can’t carry up 1 steep flight of stairs. Very quiet so got great sleep, friendly welcome - all staff we met were great. Felt like a home away from home. Coffee and water were a nice touch, and love having a fridge in the room. Excellent location too.
This was a great place to stay. The layout invites social interactions, but still has private nooks. There was a leak in my room after a rain. I message Andrea, and she resolved the issue. In addition, Andrea helped me with the laundry service. It seems like she’s the only person on the premises, which is why you’re more likely to get a response via the Expedia vs calling (FYI, there are different numbers listed on Expedia & Google).
Very clean, the lady Andrea that works there does a great job and is lovely. I stayed a total of about 10 days and fornthe price i would say it was the best from the 4 different hotels i stayed in for that price range. My only suggestion is mosquito screen so that you can have the bathroom windows open for ventilation of the whole room (room 1) anyways. They have a washer and dryer and potable water which is 👌 great and the bed is very comfortable and king size. I would ask for room 1 while staying there.
Very quiet room (except for weekend nights but earplugs are provided) apart from Friday ans Saturday it is super quiet.
Getting inside was easy with the codes and instruction sent ahead of time. The room is pretty much exactly as in the pictures, just the tiles in the bathroom have seen better days. Communicating through the expedia messages did not work for some reason but I was able to talk to the "receptionist" in person when she was there or through the phone number that was provided.
My room was on the ground floor, so I could unfortunately hear almost every time when someone arrived or left. It was also rather dark during the day but since I was outside most of the time it didnt bother me so much.
The location is very good and the value for this location is excellent. The hotel rooms are smallish but comfortable with a huge bed and larger than normal bathroom. The staff was available for a few hiccups we had and answered quickly. ( the automatic lock on the door stopped working one morning due to the battery, but it was rectified in a timely manner.) What is nice is there is a kitchen you can use and common seating areas inside and out, we didnt use it much but its a nice feature. There is a fridge in the room as well. The bed was very comfortable. We didnt use the jacuzzi so cannot comment on it. Despite hearing nightclub music on the weekend after closing time its very quiet. Lots if dining, coffee shops and bars nearby.
