"My wife and I had a really pleasant stay at the hotel. The highlight of our stay was the service of the staff, which was excellent! There was daily room service, which was a welcome surprise! The hotel was close to the major commercial spots of Columbia too. The only issue we had was the initial confusion about the name of the hotel as we saw Motel 06 everywhere. They are in a transitional phase and everything carries the old logo and the name. We were a bit hesitant to use the Check-in kiosk but that was no trouble at all. We will definitely stay at Hotel Blu again!"

"This hotel is one of our staples when we are in town for swim meets on the college campus. It’s close to food and parking is easy. Only 10min to campus. HOWEVER…every time we are there traffic noise and kids running in the hallways unaccompanied always seems to ruin it. They seem to host every soccer, basketball, and volleyball tournament for 500 miles. PLEASE POST QUIET HOURS!!! Some of us need to be up at 6am."

"The hotel was going thru renovation while we were there. Our room had been finished from the renovations so it was like a brand new room. So very clean and nice. We stayed three nights and had no problems. The continental breakfast was okay and fresh. When they are finished with renovations this will be a nice economy hotel."
