"Staff were of no help whatsoever when I wanted to book a taxi to Syracuse airport. I tried twice and neither staff member was helpful or even interested in trying to help. It cannot be a unique situation that a guest wants to arrange a ride to the airport. I am baffled."

"The fact of the matter is this is for all intents and purposes a motel. There were no amenities that I noticed, nor had time to use to be fair, so maybe there was something and I just wasn't aware. Having a Dunkin Donuts basically in the parking lot was a big plus. I will say, for a "motel" the room was as clean as could be. The beds were incredibly soft and we had a great night's sleep. The pillows were a little flatter than I liked but they gave us eight for two beds so I just staked a few. Now the room itself was showing some age. The bathroom door stuck a bit and the shower nozzles required some torque to open and close. Again, I am not saying this is a 5 star hotel and I think even a 3 star would be fair. I gave it 4 stars because it exceeded my expectations."

"Nice stay. Only thing that I can point out was the room smelled stale/had a slight unpleasant odor to it when I walked in. Breakfast was good and staff was nice. Only stayed one night so didn't bother to change rooms after a long drive. If I stayed longer than a day, I would have requested a different room."

"Accommodations are spread across 3 separate buildings (bedroom, bathroom and cooking/dining area). The bedroom looks like a log cabin from the inside. Very clean with wood plank walls, nice log frame beds with new camo bedding. Heater, air conditioner, TV and WIFI. Comfortable after a long day of fishing on Salmon River. Able to park outside door. Rustic bath house is set up for one person at a time. Nice size shower which includes good hot/cold water pressure and washer/dryer, if needed. Stove, microwave, refrigerator and table are in a rustic community kitchen/dining area located inside screened in building. If you plan to cook you need to bring your own pots, pans and utensils. Gas grill is available on deck outside screened in kitchen/dining area. Host is located in another cabin and is available to answer questions or provide assistance at any time."
