"Apart from this cottage being very unique, the owners are incredibly welcoming and hospitable. They made me feel like a part of their family. "

"The place is hidden in Perigord, between the rivers Lot and Dordogne--which in summer is perfect to go swimming, canoeing, hiking in the area. There are culinary gems in Goujounac or Villefranche-du-Périgord--if you ask the locals. Be advised, though, that you need to travel considerable distances to get to places of interest. The place itself is kept in good condition, except for maybe a musty smell and an assorted mix of silverware and tableware, which seemed a bit thrown together."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks in the cottage. It is in beautiful surroundings and we loved watching the sun set from our terrace in the evening. It is within 10 minutes walking distance through a shady lane to the centre of the village and there is also a small supermarket and petrol station within 3 minutes drive. "Gite propre, mais odeur de renfermé qui persiste dès que les portes et fenêtres sont fermées. Bon confort literie sauf le lit gigogne dont le bruit des lattes est insupportable pour le lit du bas. On a du dû déménager ma fille dans le clic clac du salon. Cuisine équipée sauf couteaux pour cuisiner, eau très calcaire donc dépôts dans la bouillir et traves de blanc sur la vaisselle qui sort du lave vaisselle. Conseil : faites votre vaisselle à la main. "
