citizenM Geneva
5/5 Excellent
"Very conveniently positioned hotel in Old Town Geneva. It is very modern and quite IT focused but there are still plenty of staff to assist and they do so with a smile even when they are very busy. We were recommended a room on the rue de la rotisserie side of the building which was nice as it was quiet and we woke up with the greenery of the trees. The room was spotless but is quite small with the bed wedged in between the outer window and the wall of the bathroom with no circulation space around. Clearly it's for those who won't spend much time in the room which was perfect for us as we were out all day. The washbasin is in the room and not in the bathroom, which was also fine for us but may not be for everyone. The bathroom is modern and clean with a good walk-in shower. There is space to hang up clothes and there is a safe but no tea and coffee making facilities. You can't open the windows but we didn't think this was an issue. The 24h bar downstairs is a nice touch. We didn't have breakfast but we ate there once in the evening and the food was good. All in all we had a really good stay and we would definitely recommend the hotel for those on a city break."
