  • This place is right behind the James L Knight Center, right between the Brickell Avenue and the S.E. 2nd Avenue bridge. I was on the North side of the Miami River pointing my camera South East. I found plenty of parking for a reasonable price. Best time if you want lots of action would be Friday or Saturday night. For a more desolate nights I would recommend Monday thru Thursday night. Here you will find an incredible amount of photography opportunities to shoot for. While like any big city you will find a few homeless folks, the place was very clean and very well kept. Lots of new, very tall buildings have made the Miami landscape a very popular site for photography!

This hotel is a good value for the price; especially if you’re in Miami for only one night. The free breakfast is better than most and the staff was friendly and efficient. The only down side is that there are very limited dining options around if you don’t have a car. You can get delivery from a few places but my last couple of stays it wasn’t very good. This time I got food at the airport once I landed and took it to the hotel which worked very well.
