"The cabin was exactly as pictured and wonderful, very clean and had more than enough starter supplies. The area around it looked like more of a yard in the pictures but you are right on the edge of the ridge, which was not a problem but there was some mowing/ trimming needed as it was rather high and over grown. The river access was a little surprising (that’s where 4x4 was a necessity) but the privacy and relaxation at the river was WELL worth it. Overall we had a great stay and enjoyed the cabin and river ."

"If you want quiet, rustic and "homey" this is the place for you! This place is nestled in a wooded area and definitely not on a paved road....just our style! The rustic looks and decor were perfect for our personal taste. The "worst" part of the stay was the lack of cell signal (we got 1 bar of 4g most of the time) but that didn't even bother us! We enjoyed being mostly disconnected for our stay. If you like being remote with the modern conveniences of lights & running water I HIGHLY recommend this place!"

My only negative comment is that if you're staying during walnut season, be prepared for VERY loud impacts of walnuts falling from the trees onto the metal roof over the porch. The cabin is also just above the road and has several cabins nearby, so be ready for road and neighbor traffic. Other than that, I had a lovely stay. 8.5/10"
