My stay was very nice. The resort is nice. The staff was extremely welcoming and attentive. The view from our balcony was perfect. The selection of restaurants was also very nice.

Third time to DR, first time at this resort. Can’t beat the location, the beach is stunning! The resort was beautiful. Excellent service, great food. Only complaint is none of the hot tubs were hot, rather they were pool temperature or luke warm. I would love to return to this place. I hope the hot tubs are hot next time :-)

This property is amazing with a simple layout for ease of movement around. The spa services I received were top notch. I recommend visiting the spa to everyone when there. The on-property entertainment team are the best in class as they ensured a fun time all day everyday. And last but not least stop by the preferred club pool bar and see Maximus for a delicious cocktail. Tell him I sent you.

Still need some improvement in the service but globally extremely good. The entertainment team was very good. Thanks to Mr.Brown and Mr.Candy! If you like swimming in the ocean, the hotel is directly in front of agitated water. We had a few days with no swimming allowed. But you can walk outside the complex limit to get into calmer and crystalline water.

The beach is incredible, one of the nicest in the Dominican Republic. The pools, rooms, food, drinks and coffee house were very good. Our butler also was a gem and answered all our questions, made dinning reservations and even walked us to different areas of the resort. My wife and i enjoyed our stay very much.

Very clean room Food 8.5/10 Some of the staff were amazing and some seemed depressed/bothered Music by the pool DJ always sounded like spring break. It would have been ok but not every day for 7 days. We will most likely not return or next time pay more and stay in the preferred section.

Just left after 10 days. Rooms great (we had Secrets Preferred), beach spectacular, nice pools and pool bars. But restaurants only so, so. We tried 6 restaurants to try and get a good steak. Not one good one. Tough meat and always overcooked, sorry to say. Lambchops at Bordeaux were excellent and good seafood at Tierra. Otherwise pretty mediocre food at the a la carte restaurants. We live in Chicago, with world class restaurants, but are not food snobs and do not expect great food at AIs. But these restaurants were just disappointing, at least to us. Actually we liked the buffets best -- you could see what you were getting before deciding what to put on your plate. We have been to a lot of all inclusives over the years and the food here was just a C.

It is brand new resort and a bit far from the airport. (about 1 1/2 hrs. from PUJ) Not so crowded yet, so staffs recognize most of guest which was very convenient and made services are pleasant all the time during my stay. Foods are good, drink selections are good. All staffs are very friendly and nice.

Beautiful location with extremely friendly and accommodating staff. Many issues: lots of doors in the pool area don't close or lock properly, ordered room service that didn't arrive twice, housekeeping staff did not acknowledge the "no doorbell/do not disturb" lights (or use the doorbell at all). The buffet breakfast and lunch were good but the restaurants were hit or miss. The app did not correctly reflect which restaurants were open. The resort is definitely still getting its footing.

We enjoyed the ocean. I’ve had room problems. Willing leaking from above bathroom and 3 of our 10 days stay were in bad conditions. Food not as expected. The only place you can eat as soon as you go was the buffet. At restaurant we had 2 hours waiting and received food already cold. Best place to eat was at restaurants at preferred club location for both Secrets and Dreams resorts. Stuff has no experience but some of them are really trying hard. Really onest , the resorts ( secrets and dreams- at Playa Esmeralda) don’t deserve the price we’ve paid.
