"The owners introduction message, received a few days before arrival, was very comprehensive and informative. The exterior was reasonably neat and presentable. The inside however, was not properly cleaned and there were many instances where this was evident: grease and fat in the oven which caused it to smoke and required that we perform a deep clean to properly use it ; dirt and grime on cabinets and under furniture ; greasy crockery that needed cleaning before use ; cobwebs in a few places. "The staff were really helpful, food was excellent. The waitress Emmy was particularly good. It was quite expensive but good value for that. It was a good place to stay to then go and visit our relatives in Swifterbant."
