"We loved everything about this place. It's in a fantastic rural setting, and is very comfortable. The apartment is clean, spacious and very well equipped. Outside the gardens are lovely, and there are views of fields and trees on both sides. The host provided lots of interesting information about the local area, and there were walks from the doorstep. This is a great location for exploring the Peak District."

The bed is the comfiest bed i have ever slept in away from home...so much so we kept doing starfishes in excitement 🤣 Good sleep is so important after a solid day of hiking so very much appreciated. "Really good location- good base to explore the surrounding areas from- Greeted by Richard who showed us around explaining everything we needed to know and told us some places to visit and eat. The accommodation is first class and highly recommended. Very clean with good appliances from washing machine to toaster. Great Overnight Stay
"This hotel is conveniently situated right next to the M6. It has free parking and free (unsecured) WiFi. Check in was quick, welcoming and friendly. There is no lift and very long corridoors, this was a bit of a problem for us as we have resticted mobility. Our room was spacious and very clean with a good bathroom. There was a walk in shower, but it was quite a step up with no grab rail, so again if you have mobility issues, this may be a problem. The bed was comfy and the room was quiet. The TV was very oddly programmed and took a while to master. The bar and lounge area was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. Lots of hot and cold choices available and Alex served, assisted and cleared very efficiently. We were particulary impressed with the breakfast. All in all a good stay and we would return."
