"From the welcome from Pauline, to the attention to detail in the room, to the great location (you are a very short walking distance from everything in the town and entrance to the Blenheim Palace grounds) and easy parking in front of the house, all this combined to make the perfect stay in Woodstock. Thank you Pauline, it was a delight to stay at Yew Tree, which is clearly a labour of love that you share with your guests making it a very special place to stay."

"Our main comment is that the email confirmation for our booking specified pastries each day for breakfast, which we therefore believe we had paid for, but there was no breakfast available and no information about this or use of the kitchen in the property. "The property has everything you need for living for an extended period of time. Going up somewhat narrow stairs is required. There was the sound of some sort of animal clawing in the walls or window. I didn't read the notice that I needed to ask for checkin instructions 72 hours beforehand until the day before departure. "The family room was just the right size for our visit. It was compact, but good for a place to sleep. My toddler could reach all the switches and the tv, which made it a bit difficult to keep her away from. The staff were kind and generous during our visit by providing coloring sheets and cereal when they asked. Our room didn’t get serviced the first time it was requested, but eventually was the following day. Easy access to a Pizza Express and a Welcome Break which make it convenient when wanting to get something to eat and relax in the room for the evening. Easy parking. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was decent."
