We had a wonderful stay at the Midpine cottage! The place was clean, beautifully decorated and full of thoughtful touches! Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and utensils. There are several spots around the property to relax- we especially enjoyed morning coffee on the front porch. Jerry and Courtney were very responsive host. They even set out a bed, bowls and treats for our puppies which we really appreciate! Highly recommend this place and would love to come back.

Yosemite was the last National Park on our family’s 3 week trip out west, and the cabin was a great place to conclude our trip. Great accommodations, and easy access to Yosemite and to Mariposa. Owners provide great instructions and details on the property and surrounding areas, would definitely stay again if in the area.

We used it as our home base to take winter hikes in Yosemite. It was lovely! The single tiny downside was not being able to leave our very old dog in the home while we were away. But overall a very comfortable home.

WONDERFUL stay. This house has everything you need. We stayed here for the proximity to Yosemite and ended up staying at the house one day instead so we could enjoy it. It is a destination in itself and we can't wait to return.

This is a peaceful place away from home. We had quiet evenings, morning coffee with wild turkeys and everything we needed. I slept like a baby here and would highly recommend this spot to anyone going up for a visit to the Yosemite area.

This house was so perfect for my group of 4 people. We stayed in this house so we could go to Yosemite. It was about a 35-40 minute drive from the entrance to the park. The place was pretty remote which was nice for watching the stars. We enjoyed the hot tub the most!

The cabin was perfect for our 3 night stay to visit Yosemite. It was nice to come home from a day of hiking and relax in the hot tub. It was centrally located to the Valley and Mariposa Grove. Thanks to the owners!

Very convenient to Yosemite - about as close as you can get to the main entrance without staying in the park or a hotel. The place has everything - hot tub to grill. The layout is open and flexible. Book this place!

It was a perfect location for Yosemite. The house was mid clean as the bathrooms were a bit dirty(both showers) and there is an ant issue in the kitchen. But the hosts had loads of games and entertainment and the property was lovely.

Nicely located lodge half an hour drive from the El Portal entrance to Yosemite Park (without traffic), spacious, and well equipped in a calm area. We had a great summer stay. Thank you, Jerry and Courtney. Sylvie

We LOVED this property. It looked like it was a property that the owners use themselves. Had EVERYTHING that we needed even down to an iron, ironing board and steamer for a wedding we went to after this stay. Great recommendations for food & restaurants, favorite hiking trails and an espresso machine! Definitely recommend!

Adorable clean, spacious cabin, close to town but feels private and remote. Charming decor from living room to bedrooms with comfortable beds and bedding. So many usable spaces- front porch, back porch, and ample space in living and dining area. The host has thought of all needs including toiletries, snacks, coffee, towels for hot tub etc. Good communication online and thorough instruction book with checkout info. Wish we could have stayed longer :)

My family had a great time here. The house was clean, updated, and comfortable. It is located about as near to Yosemite as you can get without staying inside the park. This made for several great days exploring the park as a family. The hot tub was a great way to relax after long days of hiking. We also loved watching the wild turkeys and their babies running around the yard in the morning. Would highly recommend this place!

I would recommend this rental. It was very comfortable for our stay (2 adults). Lovely grounds, nicely appointed and appreciated the hot tub after a day of exploring the park. It is about an 8 minute drive to Mariposa with many restaurants and stores. The drive to Yosemite entrance was a beautiful 35-40 minute drive. There would be plenty of room in this rental for 2 couples or a couple with children. Kitchen had all the basics covered!

We spent 4 nights in this delightful house in a tranquil setting. If you are looking for peace & quiet near Yosemite National Park, this is it. The house is roomy with 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms and a large dining/living room. It has a well stocked kitchen and we cooked every night. I would gladly stay here again and recommend it to everyone. We appreciated that we could drop off our groceries before the check in time so that we could head to Yosemite! The home was very nicely decorated and comfortable. The beds were comfortable, too. We enjoyed watching some of the DVD's and loved the welcome snacks. The notebook was also helpful. Our host was very responsive. Thank you!
