"This small hotel is very quaint. Our room was clean. The weather was warm when we stayed there and the fact that there was no airconditioning was uncomfortable for us. We were able to get a fan the second night. If you have some mobility issues the stairs and steps are a bit tricky. The breakfast buffet and choices were lovely and so was the service and the staff. The elevator lacked good lighting and warm almost pitch dark. So for us at our age we would not stay there again but for anyone else...

"Overall, great historic hotel that has recently gone through a major restoration and upgrades. Great romantic atmosphere, beautiful architecture and decor, perfect location, close to both the harbor and the old city. Central station and diverse shopping and dining options nearby. My room was very tiny and I would prefer a more practical VIP gift than a huge bottle 🍾 of bubbly for a solo traveler. Breakfast is available and good but overpriced."

"The breakfast was outstanding! The staff was very helpful, explaining the apps needed for train,bus transportation to us. The hotel is very close to the train and bus station which was wonderful also. I will definitely recommend this hotel to others. "

"Room was small and hard to walk around bed as mattress platform stuck out beyond mattress and you could not walk around it without catching your leg or foot on very sharp corners-very bad design. My husband hit it twice and I hit it. Mattress was uncomfortable and pillows had smell. When we got to room cups in bathroom were dirty and lite was out over vanitory. Tub in room was very high which made it unsafe to get in and out for shower. Shower stall would have been so much better. Staff was...

"We arrived in the rain at the train station, from which it was an easy —and dry—walk through Bruun's Galleri, where we later got a meal. The room was tiny, but had everything we needed, including a view toward the harbor. The simple breakfast was great, except the juices."
