Very handy for the bus to the Ruta de Cares and a few mins walk from the centre of Arenas with shops and restaurants etc. It was nice to stay in a house with history and the neighbours were very friendly. "This mountain house was positively delightful. While it was in a pretty remote location, the views were breathtaking. It's located in a quaint tiny village on the Cares trail -- definitely bring provisions with you as the kitchen is perfect for cooking meals (and the food is so good in this area it's hard to make a bad meal). "Lovely house, beware of the low beams and lack of ease to locate by car (it’s not really possible to park a car of medium size in the street so you need to walk 5 mins). But the house was clean, tidy and had everything we needed. Quaint but modern. We could have stayed a week!"
