"Very nice hotel, all new and very clean. Staff very helpful and courteous. Two things - they will not service the room unless you ask. That went away in 2021. Second thing, a $3.50 service fee for each night was charged on the last night in the middle of the night. Was told it is a "new fee from Wyndham that we were not made aware of in advance." Bad business practice from Wyndham. "

"I celebrated 40 years since my Penn State graduation with my senior college roommate at this cabin just a couple miles from Poe Valley State Park. It was a nice peaceful setting near a small stream. The cabin had everything we wanted. Liked the screened-in porch and the recliners (we're getting old). You do need to drive a few miles of dirt roads to get to this area, but the cabin is along a paved road near a small village of cabins just outside the state parks of Poe Valley and Poe Paddy. Plenty of hiking opportunities in a short drive."

"Beautiful and spacious property. We used this for our rehearsal dinner, pre-wedding pictures, bridal suite, etc. it had plenty of room for out of town family and friends. The kids appreciated the outside area and game room. The upstairs rooms were a little warm at night, could use a few fans! Plenty of space and utensils in kitchen. Enough towels and blankets. Great location on the river! Elvin is responsive and kind. The Clark Family appreciates you letting us use your wonderful home! "

"We travel frequently and have stayed at air bnb’s and multiple hotels. This particular hotel was THE cleanest, most comfortable place we have stayed. The room was immaculate! The surroundings of the hotel were clean and groomed. Breakfast was fresh fruit, and it was fresh! The breakfast buffet had so many options, something for everyone. The bed was comfy, the view was of the golf course which was nice to watch the golfers out there. I asked for no fragrances as I have asthma and my request was granted. Not every hotel pays attention to the details on a reservation. This one did. We will definitely return! This is now our new favorite place since we come here often to see family. On a scale of 1-10, we would give this hotel a 100!!!"

"Our only issue (and it’s not a deal-breaker) is the flies in the room. We’d kill one and two more showed up. Maybe equip the rooms with fly swatters. "
