The host was very responsive whenever there's an amenity issue in the room. I had a very peaceful and quiet stay there as a solo female traveller.

The Aryana hotel exceeded our expectations. The whole place was spotless, service was terrific, the food was delicious and the hospitality was incredible. Nelu, the manager took care of ourselves, he made sure we enjoyed our stay in all aspects, he gave us tips for our trip, helped secure a tuktuk to take us around, and engaged in meaningful conversation. He even provided us with a free upgrade as our room was not very confortable the first night. I highly recommend this hotel.

This is a small hotel punching well above its weight thanks to the wisdom and care of its manager, Anna. As a family of 5 she looked after our every need - including excellent in house Ayervedic massage and bike hire. Rooms are clean, spacious and shower best so far in SL. Highly recommended.

Our stay at Uga Ulagalla was by far the highlight of our trip to Sri Lanka. Far from the busy roads and honking buses this multi acre property was an oasis. Bungalows are situated all over the property, some with private plunge pools. Rooms are large with an entry way, living room, dressing area, oversized bathroom and bedroom. The food was delicious with a variety of entrees between Western and Sri Lankan. The Sri Lankan food was outstanding. Arrival greeting and check-in is friendly,...

The lake is gorgeous; sunrise and sunset over the lake specially. Food was great at the hotel restaurant, the service was great.

Was initially upset they didn’t give the room booked on Expedia. They rectified it shortly thereafter and the stay was smooth with friendly staff

The staff was the best and made my short stay a very pleasant one. The front desk manager Akalanka was one of the best. The tuk tuk driver the hotel arranged was also very professional.

Staff are very friendly and polite.
