"We booked to stay here overnight on our way home to Auckland from Wellington, and were quite tired by the time got there around 5pm. The staff were most friendly and we appreciate the upgrade to an executive room. We also received a $20 voucher towards food and beverage, which we used towards a room serviced breakfast, which were very nice and came on time. We loved it here and would recommend to others."

"A lovely spacious room with all the facilities you would expect in a great location. Cleaning services were very reliable and replaced everything we used daily. The check in was made very easy and the staff took the time to point out places to eat get coffee and places to go. Only small negative was the space between the bed and the wall on one side. Would definitely recommend."

"Very nice reception, friendly and helpful. They also provide room service. Heater was tiny but workable for Sep. standing in the bath for shower was not ideal, cracked & missing tiles on the floor. Spa was not working, but pool was okay."

"The room was small but clean and comfortable. The basin was very small and the shower difficult to access but there was plenty of hot water. The microwave was too high for me to reach! There were very limited utensils in the kitchen and only a small benchtop oven. We enjoyed our stay and will know better what to expect in future."

"We had a wonderful stay at Villa Retreat. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was peaceful and convenient, making it a great place to unwind. The host was friendly, responsive, and made the check-in process easy. We really enjoyed our time here and would happily stay again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing getaway."
Onaeros Cute Little Cottages - Taranaki Retreat

"Loved this little place. Perfectly set up for the kids and our dog - the kids were happy to stay and play rather than explore the local area!The hosts were very thoughtful leaving home grown fruit, homemade jams, bacon and eggs plus breakfast things. We were not expecting this, and were pleasantly surprised.The cabins were nice and warm, even in the middle of winter. We used the heaters but were able to turn them off, or on low, after an hour.We will definitely be back!"
