"My room was clean. Not Hilton clean. But my sheets were great. The mini fridge and microwave clean. There wasn’t crud build up in corners like I’ve seen in others. The pillows were terrible. Way too thick and hard for my liking. I forgot to bring my own. The place offered breakfast but since I stayed to go to Cedar Point and didn’t get into my room til 12:30am. I wasn’t awake in time to eat breakfast. This place is a great place to sleep. You will hear freight trains coming through but it’s 1-2 at most. But you will hear the horn. This was my 2nd time staying at Cedar Cove. Give these owners a try. They give you free ice cold water bottles when you arrive. And that’s such a nice gesture. I always try to book here when I go to Cedar Point."

"Going through Expedia is the right way to go! We saved money from what the hotel itself was offering so that was good. When we arrived, THE person at the desk welcomed us. She was friendly and professional! Her name was Rachel. Once we got to our room, we had a text from Rachel asking if we need anything and we asked if there was a place nearby where we could get fresh fish. My wife and I follow a gluten-free due to celiac disease, and pescatarian diet. We were directed to a place that did offer what we needed however, it was a members only but the person behind the desk at the Lake Erie. Club said that they offered one day passes so it worked out very well for us. The one improvement I would make about the hotel would be that if they could offer some breakfast items that were gluten-free, either muffins or cereal that would be very helpful. We did get a banana, and an apple. However, it would’ve been nice to have something such as a gluten-free muffin to go with coffee."

"Good hot breakfast, fun swimming pool. No elevator, clean but not fancy. Older windows but heat was good. Would stay again Didn't come for the hotel, but for a clean place to sleep, eat breakfast and enjoy a swim. Got all we wanted here. Thanks!!!"
