Known as the former Artists area (painters, but also poets and writers used to live and work here), it still maintains its fascinating aura.
It's a very special neighborhood where you can still sense a creative unique atmosphere. Stroll around the narrow pedestrian streets, set in elegant exclusive buildings, with lots of cafes, restaurants, museums and fashion and design shops.
The flat is in a beautiful street, and right in front of a beautiful ancient church. Shopping, Art, Design and good Food are the main traits of the neighborhood. A beautiful park is very close, just 5 mins away.

Please note that the access to the historical district of Milan where my apartment is located is limited by the Congestion Charge area (Area C) on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 7.30 to 19.30, and on Thursdays from 7. 30 to 18. To get into "Area C" you must activate an entrance ticket for 5 euros. For more information, please visit the Milan Municipality website.

How to reach the apt. from:
- MALPENSA Airport: take the MALPENSA EXPRESS train to CADORNA (40 minutes, 12 Euro); in CADORNA take the underground (GREEN LINE) to LANZA (5 minutes / 2 Euro).
From Lanza you can walk to the flat in 5 min. OR take the bus to the Central Station, and then the underground (GREEN LINE) to LANZA.
- LINATE Airport: take the bus from Linate to the Central Station (adults: 5 Euros, children under 12: 2. 5 Euros). From CENTRALE take the underground GREEN line to LANZA (10 mins./2 euro). From LANZA you can walk to the flat in 5 minutes.

- BERGAMO Airport (Orio al Serio): take the ORIO SHUTTLE from Orio al Serio to CENTRAL STATION. (5 Euro / 50 minutes). From CENTRALE take the underground, GREEN line to LANZA (10 minutes / 2 euros). From LANZA it’s only 5 minutes walk to the flat.

- CENTRAL STATION: take the underground (GREEN LINE) from CENTRAL to LANZA (10 minutes / 1. 5 Euros). From LANZA it’s only 5 minutes walk to the flat.

- GARIBALDI STATION: take the underground (GREEN LINE) from GARIBALDI FS to LANZA (15 minutes / 1.50 Euros).
