Decent hotel, good location

Lobby area was.very nice and modern, however the actual rooms really need updating. The room was clean but it felt like it hadnt been updated since the 90s. Having said that the amenities were good and the kitchen facilities were useful. Location was ideal and within walking distance of the metro station and supermarket.

The smell of onions in the room was so strong that we couldn't sleep. It was so overwhelming that we needed to get up and open the balcony door in the middle of the night. The AC couldn't fix it. In the morning the smell was mixed up with the smell of fryingoil. There must have been something wrong with the ventilation. The breakfast was good and the onion-smell, which could be sensed all around, disappeared from the 5th floor and up. Maybe we had bad luck. Nice receptionist.

Although we experienced a minor issue with the air conditioning at first, the front desk staff handled it promptly and professionally by relocating us to a new room, which we greatly appreciated. Toilet was very nice, the walls in the hallway looked as if they hadn't seen a touch of paint in years, the beds were also very hard.
