"The house is perfect for small families and right on the water as advertised. Both the front and back yard are fenced in with ample outdoor furniture and grill. The porch is lovely with wrap around screened in windows, we did not use the bed in this space but a nice mostly private option for those who may need it. Very mermaid themed for all mermaid lovers."

"Great location just a short walk to the beach. The house had lots of fun games, cards, books, kitchen items, and a very peaceful vibe. Perfect for our group of 6. Sheets, towels, and beach chairs made it very convenient. The owner responded quickly to questions and was very helpful. Look for dolphins on the beach and a grey fox in the neighborhood. We had not been to Broadkill Beach before and really enjoyed the natural, laid back atmosphere. We did not want to leave."

"The house was perfect for us, tucked just behind the dunes so it was plenty private, but so close to a quiet stretch of beach that it was easy to just wander out for a walk before (and after) breakfast. The house itself is really nicely put together - cozy, clean, and well appointed with lots of convenient little touches. We would absolutely stay again!"

"I stayed for a week mid-May just before the summer season really kicked in. I worked part-days and the 5G wifi was strong. Brought my dog and we enjoyed walking 30 seconds to the beach! I like being removed from busier beaches but was a quick drive to Lewes for restaurants. Thank you!"

"This adorable and nicely decorated cottage has just about everything you need. Plenty of dishes, silverware and pots and pans. We spent a lot of time on the large deck with a great view of the bay. Robin was very easy to communicate with and replied promptly to our questions. It’s nice that beach chairs and umbrellas are available. We forgot to bring insect repellent and had to leave the beach early one day because of biting insects. Other than that we had a great time!"

"Grandmas Cottage looks exactly like the pictures, but is bigger inside. I have to say every inch of this cottage was immaculate. The grounds and gardens are welcoming. The outside chairs facing the lake are a great spot to read, drink your morning coffee or watch geese and ducks. Stores and restaurants easy to find. Self check-in and basic rules for check out easy to follow. Kudos to Helen & Walter for providing such a comfortable place to stay. I highly recommend and would rent again."

"The location of this home is everything. Water views in all directions, a quiet secluded street, neighbors but great bars and restaurants are just 15 minutes away. I fell in love with the little town of Milton. We celebrated my son’s 1st birthday with a long weekend and it was just perfect for him. "This was the perfect place for our family Vaca!! Very clean and well stocked with essentials. A lot of privacy is provided by the shrubbery and the beach is just a few steps away. We were 6 adults, 2 kids and 2 small dogs and we did not feel crowded at all. Loved it and definitely hope to return again. The sunrises on the beach were spectacular and there is a wildlife viewing area within walking distance for the most glorious sunsets. Definitely recommend."

The layout of the rooms is great for larger families or multiple families travelling together since there are separate bedrooms, multiple baths and a full kitchen. Friendly and accommodating staff.
