Unique Art Deco era property, a bit overpriced for a weekend stay in May imo but would still recommend, nice rooms, nice restaurant and old fashioned diner, close to lake
My favorite location to stay in Milwaukee. Beautiful part of town, close to Lake. Rooms are very comfortable. The beds and pillows are great for sleeping. The breakfast options are very delicious, and the courtyard eating area outside is very pretty.. However, breakfast service was extremely slow. Server kept apologizing but did not get coffee refills, condiments, etc without asking several times. Food was delicious.
Couldn’t be happier with our stay here. Reasonable cost for how nice the room and hotel were. My wife and I even said we wished we could find a similar experience every city we visited.
The rooms have recently been remodeled and they are so clean! The property itself is older and beautiful with so much character. Staff is also super friendly!

Wonderful place to stay. Room was not huge but had everything you needed. Having a full kitchen was great. Only issue was a pretty tiny bathroom. Bed was comfy. Stayed for Summerfest and it was a little bit of a hike but better than fighting traffic. Tons to do in walking distance. Great price compared to everything else in the area but we did book very early. Would for sure stay again.

The property still uses metal keys! The rooms are nice and included a full kitchen! Which had dishes, pots, pans, every essential. Even though the cable was out, the concierge provided us breakfast vouchers for the on-site restaurant, which has delicious breakfast options.

The property itself looks very outdated and older. Our room though was very clean and had been updated. They have window units for AC and old-school heating but it all did the job. The rooms have a small kitchen for doing your own cooking for small meals. We did their breakfast one morning and it was very good. Staff was amazing on all ends. We would stay here again.
Very clean, great front desk staff, housekeeping staff was incredibly friendly, and I must mention a young man exiting with trash when we arrived. He was extremely helpful with directions and assisted with the exterior door entry, as it was a little tricky at first.
I wish I had caught his name😊

Great location, friendly staff, loved the kitchenette in the room
We have stayed at the Plaza many times over many years. It's a one of a kind experience. They have refreshed their rooms and it's even more lovely. Kitchenette is great. Restaurant has delicious breakfast and lunch. Delightful outdoor patio in warm weather. Metro market right there for anything you might need. 5 🌟

Charming, clean, helpful staff and wonderful onsite restaurant. Would stay there again.
We loved our stay at this hotel! It's got a retro vibe, the room is clean, updated, comfortable and quiet. The staff was friendly, and we got upgraded from a queen to a king room.
Great location, we parked the car and walked to Brady St for dinner and show. You walk through the restaurant to get to the stairs (to your room), which is a little different, but the cafe was super tasty and convenient in the morning, with super kind staff. We didn't use the kitchen but it was fully stocked, this would be a great place to stay for multiple nights.
We will stay here again on our next visit to Milwaukee.
