"We only stayed one night and weren’t able to use the restaurants etc as our main goal was to see the castle and tour surrounding areas.The castle is a short walk away. The hotel was built in 1960 has a vibe of a classic old Japanese hotel. But well maintained. The staff speak minimal English. I liked ..."

Grand Base Urakami
"Quiet location, choice of 2 tram stops and a train station. Food shops close by. Room was very clean. Would be good to have a tea towel in the kitchen area to dry dishes, we used a small towel instead. Don't like the unmanned check-in process though."
