"This was an unexpected gem. Built in 1899 having a transformed back in time vibe. Hosts are so warm and welcoming. If you stay on a Sunday or Monday night you will be treated to a beautiful roast dinner. Dunster is a picturesque little town that should be visited. Much quieter with tourists."

"This was a wonderful stay, the staff could not do enough and when I expressed a question about whether I could stay another night, the young man looking after me went out of his way to rearrange, speak to his manager and make it so that I could stay in the same room. I slept really well, to the point of asking where they got their mattress and pillow from!"

"Staff here are the loveliest people. Located in a picturesque village in the heart of Exmoor. I fell asleep to the babble of the river beside my window. A truly lovely stay! Bona fide old school hospitality. I will be back!"

"Fijne herberg met gastvrij en vriendelijk personeel. Wij logeerden in de familie kamer, een gezellige ruimte op de tweede verdieping. Er staat ook een bedbank voor een derde persoon, maar die is aan vervanging toe. Ze serveren ook een diner met redelijke keus, en voor het ontbijt heb je ook prima keus."
