Lovely hostel, very clean. Good shared kitchen facilities, lounge and dining area. Bathrooms were clean and mostly modern. Heating worked well. Location is a bit out the way but we knew that and enjoyed it. Track up in the car a bit shoddy so drive slow! No issues sharing on our visit but it was quiet, not sure how it would be if full.
Improvements - Some benches outside for sunny days. The green light that stays on all night (assuming for health and safety) is far to bright and kept me awake - Eventually created a den in the bunk beds to resolve this, but ideally the light could do with being much dimmer if it has to be there.
30 minutes walk into Minehead, and walks all around in the woods.
