"Beautiful property with a spectacular location. Food and service were top notch. Pool was perfect temperature and very clean. Room was very comfortable and inviting. Staff went above and beyond for our group of 8. Would recommend Windermere House to family and friends"

"You can tell that this place was once loved and well taken care of. It is in desperate need of maintenance and updates. The public areas were dirty and in disrepair in spots. The rooms we stayed in needed paint and the plumbing was backed up. The beds were old and sagged in the middle. The fitness room had several machines that were out of order and they were all very old (like from the 80s). The staff was polite but none of them seemed to want to be there. The food was mediocre. The view was absolutely beautiful. With a little love and money, it could be a great destination."

"Location was excellent for what we needed it for. Have stayed here before and it has not changed in cleanliness. Front desk not staffed, had to ring a phone number. Outside entry filthy, but could be so inviting if cleaned and presented nicely. Inside is dark and uninviting as well, rooms have old decor, balcony....well you couldn't use as filthy and a place to store rubbish. When contacted staff they were helpful when needing things for the room. Restaurant staff are great but be aware they are not always open. Breakfast this time we stayed was not offered. Borrowed a kettle from family and had cereal. Take out in this town is very minimal. So be prepared. Upon leaving, you leave a key in a basket, so no personnel contact."

"We had a buisness/casual stay at the Jw, Rosseau and if I were to sum the short trip into one sentence, it would be: “The JW Marriott Lake Rosseau was a country, relaxed vibe with good entertainment and activities.” The restaurants were decent. Excellent options in near by towns. But you don’t have to leave the resort! Beautiful location and well maintained grounds. Please deep clean a bit more within the rooms. This was a minor detail but would be the extra mile! See you again! Special thank-you to the valet team."
