Went to stay for two nights and the first night checking in, lay down on the bed for not even an hour and noticed a bedbug, not even an inch away from me!!!! It looked like it was full of blood so I think it just had it’s feeding on me. Then I saw two more, and they were really quick and ran under the sheets so I couldn’t find them anymore. But I was able to capture video of the one near me. You can see it full of blood. It’s so small so when I took a picture of it, it’s a little bit blurry, but the video captures it well and you can just see it is full of blood in it. I have never ever had an experience like this at any hotel. I went to the front desk immediately and got a refund requested and tried to get out of there as soon as possible. Luckily they did not dispute and gave me the refund but now I have to make sure that it’s refunded through my credit card okay. I had to sleep in my car for the night due to this, and had to go buy a lot of chemicals and things to make sure that I did not bring hitchhiker bed bugs on my luggage or car. It took a lot financially for this, and I contemplated on possibly getting some kind of compensation from the hotel, but I have so much going on in my life that I couldn’t fit this to another task for me to do. It stressed me out a lot. When I had shopped for this hotel online it looked really nice, but when I had walked in, it had a very dark, damp, eerie vibe in the hallways, lobby, and walls not well cared for. Felt like a nightmare.
