When I arrived I was greeted by a very sweet old lady and man. They showed me to my room with so much kindness. I could feel the love. My room has strong air conditioning (very important during summer) I was served an incredible dinner in a private room and I enjoyed a bath. I had a wonderful experience! They staff was so friendly and kind. I enjoyed many activities such as the morning service, yoga, and sutra class. The food was unique, delicious and filling. This is a great place to visit if you want to have a more authentic experience in Japan.

Very welcoming and nice staff.

It‘s a bit of the beaten path and not fancy but the staff is super friendly and helpful. If you get a room looking out over the lake you can see Mt Fuji from your bed if it’s not hiding.

This was my first time staying at a Dormy Inn, and as expected from its reputation, it was a very comfortable stay. The front desk staff provided great service, and I really enjoyed the thoughtful little touches, including the complimentary Yonaki Soba (late-night noodles). I was especially pleasantly surprised by how delicious the welcome grape juice was. Although it is a bit of a walk from the JR station, it is definitely a hotel I would recommend.

Negatives first - this hotel is abit out the way, so if you plan on going, it might be worth more than a day trip/more than one night stay. The arcad/entertainment rooms are very dated and could use some investment. Maybe opt for a lake view, we chose Fuji but as it was cloudy it wasn’t the best view in the world. That’s it.... Positives - shuttle bus service from the train/bus station is fantastic. Check in was smooth and easy, the room was beautiful (room 807), dinner was clearly lovingly...

This was one of the best experiences I’ve had traveling. The onsen was incredibly beautiful, clean, and serene, and the staff were extremely attentive and helpful. The food especially stood out as one of the best meals I’ve had in Japan. I highly, highly recommend this onsen!

Good location, very nice rooms and onsen. Plenty of parking area. Onsen room was cold, very unusual. Other then that, hotel is clean and nice. GREAT view, if you pick the rooms with terrace, looking over Mt. Fuji.

Each room is an individual stand-alone container. Brand new facility and very clean/spacious for Japanese standard room. Cool thing is 7-11 is located immediately across the street (30 metres away)

Hotel muito confortável, a vista maravilhosa para o Monte Fuji e o café da manhã muito gostoso. Apenas no dia da minha hospedagem a recepcionista e aconselhou a não usar a hidro feminina aquecida pois o hotel estava recebendo um grande grupo e estaria lotado infelizmente. Mas as acomodações do hotel muito agradável e confortável. Fácil acesso a linha de ônibus, muito perto do teleférico.
