BEAUTIFUL CEDAR CHALET LAKE CABIN!!!!
ONLY 2 HRS FROM MINNEAPOLIS!!
Nestled in the beautiful Northwoods of Minong Wisconsin. Surrounded by trees with an expansive deck that overlooks the lake, this spacious three bedroom lake cabin with a loft, 4 seasons room and bar area provides a peaceful, serene, relaxing fun environment that family and friends can enjoy. Guest can also enjoy access to ton of ATV/ SNOWMOBILE and hiking trails in the beautiful Northwoods.

THE CABIN:
Sleeps 8-10 people comfortably.
Cabin has three Queen beds, two Full beds and a Futon bed in the loft area. There is also a Futon bed in the four seasons room.
Spacious living room and dining area.
Fire place in living room.
Spacious 4 season room.
FUN LOWER LEVEL BAR.
Washer and dryer in lower level.
Picnic bench for outside dining.
Electric wood pellet smoker and Charcoal grill.
OUTDOOR FIREPIT.
CABIN HAS A PRIVATE DOCK.
THIS COZY CABIN HAS A HUGE DECK THAT OVERLOOKS MIDDLE LAKE.
MIDDLE LAKE CONNECTS TO SOUTH TWINS LAKE. BOTH LAKES ARE ACCESSIBLE TO EACH OTHER BY BOAT, PONTOON, JET SKIS ETC.
Pontoon and Boat rentals available in the area. Businesses will deliver and launch the pontoon/boat for you!
Guest do not have access to the hot tub.
Smoking is not allowed inside the cabin.
THE AREA IS PACKED WITH ATV AND SNOWMOBILE TRAILS! The nearest ATV trail starts at the end of Middle Road, about 1 mile or less from the cabin. The trails follow the roads (ride on roads) as well as through the woods. The trail at the end of Middle Road will connect to 100's of miles of trails.

The perfect birthday getaway!

A small group of friends and I stayed for the weekend during the winter and this place is truly magical! Check in was easy, and the cabin was absolutely stunning. We’ve already discussed coming back! The host communication with me was amazing as well.

Amazing property

It was a beautiful property. Owners were easy to get a hold of if needed. Easy access to all atv trails. We had an amazing time!! Definitely will ge booking again.

Quiet & relaxing retreat

We loved our winter stay at the cabin. We ice fished at a nearby lake, hiked on a trail that is just walking distance from the cabin and the location of the property makes it easy to explore other parks and nature areas. Highlights for the kids were the hot tub and fire pit to make s'mores!

Great winter getaway.

Overall, a pretty nice, secluded cabin. It was clean and had pretty much everything we needed for our stay. Some firewood for the fireplace would have been nice, though. A working hot tub would’ve made this the greatest cabin rental in the area. Great communication with the owner.

Nice Family getaway.

House was spacious and nice. Property and amenities was big and also very nice. Lake is very shallow and it was hard to get our 14' fishing boat through the channel to south twin lake..

Family weekend getaway

Beautiful cabin with amazing view of the lake. The fireplace adds to the ambiance and coziness. Kitchen is small but well stocked. Frigid temps kept us inside but we stayed busy with games and puzzles we brought with.

We ventured to Minong area this past fall with 2 other couples we had not vacationed with before. This spacious property and cabin made it so easy to have fun together! It also provided us each our own space when it was time to settle down for the night. Perfect in every way!

Beautiful property!

This spot was perfect for our family. There was plenty of room in the house for everyone to have their own space. The deck was the perfect place to watch the loons on the water and listen to the whippoorwills at night. Just a very short walk down to the dock served a perfect place for the kids to catch lots and lots at bluegill. I would definitely recommend this property!

Great family getaway

A great pine cabin on a nice lake on a quiet street. This was our 2nd stay for my husbands birthday with our adult kids. It's a large house with a sunroom and large deck and great bar area with a tv and dart board. We are too small of a family to live that big in the house and take advantage of all it has to offer, but have had a great time both times. The detached garage is great for your grilling needs which we all appreciated. Host is phenomenal and communications were great and have nothing but praise for our experience.

Communication was great. Easy to find. Expectations clearly laid out. Property is beautiful. Weather was on our side this weekend and we did some exploring. Love the deck and fireplace! Highly recommend.

AMAZING!!

Spent the weekend with friends and family to celebrate my birthday. The cabin was so beautiful! My fave part was the high ceiling in the living room with the best view of the trees and lake. Great areas to hang out for different activities indoor and out. It is very quite and peaceful but you are less than 20 min drive to near by restaurants and bars. Also easy drive from the twin cities. The host, Germel, was the kindest host I have encountered and was very attentive. 1000% would recommend. I will definitely be coming back :)

Bring everything from home

The owner has notes everywhere as if children are staying here and don’t know how to behave. I completely botched and double booked the weekend. Seeing that this was our 4th time to this property (yes we keep trying it hoping they will get some hot pads that don’t have holes, some spices, etc not well stocked)the owner was completely unwilling to work with me. NEVER AGAIN!

Peaceful Getaway

Our stay at the cottage in Minong was wonderful! The cedar home was beautiful - what drew us to it in the first place were all of the windows that looked out to the yard and lake beyond~ The host, Denise, was so helpful from the start, providing info. on renting boats, restaurants in the area, and responded promptly with any questions we had. Everything we needed was provided - the yard had ample space for yard games, grilling, putting up our hammocks, and the neighborhood was quiet and safe for walking, jogging, etc. The home was large enough for all of us to "find our own space" when needed, from the cozy loft to the lower level bar, or doing puzzles in the cheery sunroom. The deck was huge and was so peaceful to have morning coffee and listen to the loons, or reading, or chatting with family. This was the perfect getaway for us - did not even turn the TV on - a perfect spot for us and necessary together time. Thank You!

A few good things... a few not so great things

Positive: property & home were beautiful, it looked & smelled clean, responses to questions were prompt.Negative: the ad stated lake levels were low & showed a dock but it wasn't in - the owner put the dock in the next day - nice gesture. My daughter canceled last minute - I notified the owner there was no dog & they refunded the 50 pet deposit - nice gesture. Fridge & stove are outdated - no bars on the fridge door so you lose 1/3 of the storage & had to reconfigure shelves to fit a gallon of milk. Stove was old, could have been cleaner but worked. For the price, upgraded appliances would be nice. Big issue was bugs in 2 lower level beds. NOT bedbugs-beetles-but we vacated those 2 rooms. Bugs were found day 5 after extreme heat/humidity on days 3 & 4. Sent the owner videos & pics & asked them to come that night to witness them. Housekeepers were sent @ noon day 6 but bugs were gone. The owner kept saying we left doors & widows open. WE DID NOT! It was almost 100 & humid & the AC barely kept up. We absolutely went in & out of the doors TO USE THE DECK FOR THE 3600 VIEW BUT WE DID NOT LEAVE DOORS & WINDOWS OPEN! I asked nicely if they would consider reimbursing at least 1 day but they basically implied I was lying about the bugs and IF bugs were there it was MY FAULT for leaving doors and windows open. We gave up. We tried to enjoy the remaining 24 hours of our vacation, packed up and left a day early. Not bashing the owner, but I was really offended by their comments.
