"Great sized rooms with updated bathrooms. Fantastic, convenient location for the main area of Clare and a short drive to many of the wineries. Although we didn’t use the golf course, it looks beautiful and will be back in better weather to try it. Breakfast was very basic buffet. Probably would opt no breakfast next time and venture out to a cafe instead "

"We had a lovely stay at Reillys Wines Heritage Cottages in Mintaro. The cottage has a charming, rustic feel, and we especially loved the fireplace—it made the evenings so cosy. The wine tasting at Reillys Wine Cellar was excellent, with some great local drops. Breakfast was a nice touch too—everything provided, including local bacon, fresh eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, fruit, juice, and milk. Very generous and much appreciated. Parking was easy, and the location is fantastic—just a short walk to the Magpie and Stump Hotel for a meal or a drink. The whole area is steeped in history, with beautiful old cottages and churches all around. You’re also close to the rest of the Clare Valley, with its stunning scenery and some great restaurants nearby. That said, I do think the cottage could benefit from a bit of a refurb to freshen things up—it’s full of character, but starting to feel a little tired. Overall, it’s a great base for exploring the Clare Valley and soaking up the heritage and charm of Mintaro"
