"Moxy has a very cool vibe to it, unlike any other hotel I've stayed in. The rooms feel a bit smaller than most traditional hotel rooms, but it's still plenty of space and we enjoyed the unique design of the room. The overall "vibe" actually reminded me more of a hostel than a hotel. A hostel in that; the staff are friendly & engaging and seem like cool, normal people and there are social areas & opportunities to meet new people, that doesn't feel like a stuffy hotel bar. That being said, it's also private enough that you have the space to do your own thing if you just want to go to your room and sleep."

"The location is excellent - walking distance to shopping, the Charles River, and great restaurants. The rooms at citizenM are always comfortable, and the living room at this one (Boston Back Bay) was so lively. It was great to hang out there during some down time after a busy day of exploring."

"Sadly I was disappointed. The hotel itself looks beyond run down and more like a motel feel. The buttons on the elevator buttons and fob thing was filled with dirt and dust. The rooms are decent and clean but everything in the rooms are so old. The shower curtain was falling apart, the windows are dirty. The beds and room overall were okay. The staff was beyond friendly and kind. Something to also keep in mind it is surrounded by like 3 hospitals. So, it is very quiet and dreary. "
