"We stayed here for a bachelorette party and could not be happier with our stay!! The property is absolutely beautiful and cozy. Brian and Singrid were amazing hosts and kept communication very open and as frequent as needed! It’s a small town but we didn’t need much. We recommend the Knot Hole Bar nearby, order a Johnny Vegas and tell them we sent you! We loved the hot tub and the hosts kept the home very well stocked with towels and toiletries. We are so thankful. The one thing we all kept saying the whole weekend was “we HAVE to come back and stay here!!” Book this house, you will NOT regret it! "

"My husband and I had the best time, did a whole lot of fishing. Bonfires every night absolutely an enjoyable time.. we will definitely be coming back to Mio "

"The owner is difficult to speak to. He confirmed the place had a second refrigerator, this was important since my large family was coming and we planned meals expecting two refrigerators. There was not a second fridge. We had to go out to buy coolers and frequently get ice. He also confirmed multiple times that we were all set to have the hot tub cleaned and in use. The hot tub not only was never cleaned or filled it was actually broken and never able to be used! Online claims to have a smart TV in all bedrooms. Not only did they not have all smart TVs but many rooms did not have a TV at all. Once there the owner ghosted us and would not respond about refrigerator or the hot tub. I think that if he would have just been honest and we knew what we were getting before arrival we could have still enjoyed the place but the false information and then being non-responsive to us once there put a very sour feeling on the weekend. My family is pretty easy going so we made the best of it but I am very glad I was not booking this place for an imporant event. "

"We stayed for 7 nights at this cabin and it was everything I wanted it to be. We had a couple snow storms while we were there and Aaron and Kim sent us a message to see if we needed the driveway plowed so we could get out. The cabin was clean and well stocked. The hosts were friendly and non-intrusive. The cabin is a little drafty, but it's a cabin in Michigan in the winter. We expected that and it was easy enough to take steps to counter it. Close doors to unused rooms, hang blankets, ect. I couldn't be more pleased with our stay. Thank you Aaron and Kim for the use of your wonderful property for a much needed break from life."
