    Just renovated in warm coastal style! Our villa at 5190 Beach Walk is located near the beach, the Beachwalk swimming pool, and directly on Horseshoe Lake for catch and release fishing right outside the back door. It is convenient to the Beachwalk swimming pool - just a few steps away. Hop on the complimentary tram or take the golf cart to the Baytowne Wharf or sugar white beach. Getting around the resort is a breeze!

    Our fully stocked kitchen with granite countertops makes it a pleasure to prepare and serve family meals. The stylish dining area offers seating for six guests with additional bar seating for four. With cushy seating and an HDTV, the family room is comfortable and inviting! There is even a sleeper sofa for unexpected guests. Take time to relax and enjoy a remarkable lake view from the back patio. For the chef in the group. there is also a propane grill on the patio along with brand new outdoor seating.

    The master bedroom suite's bed offers a brand new king mattress with fresh linens, HDTV, generous closet space and a lovely lake view from the picture window. The master bathroom is designed with a double vanity and a bathtub-shower combination. The guest bedroom features a brand new king bed and mattress, HGTV and ample closet space. The adjoining guest bathroom offers a bathtub-shower combination. For your convenience, there is a stackable washer/dryer combination upstairs, and wifi is complimentary.

    CANCELLATION: Reservations that are cancelled more than 30 days prior to the arrival date receive a full refund. Reservations cancelled 14-29 days prior to arrival receive a refund of 50% of the amount paid. Guests are required to complete a rental agreement by electronic signature within 3 days of booking.

We would definitely stay here again. Our villa was very clean and close to the beach. The golf cart was very convenient.

Great Location

Overall the stay was great. It was off the beach so it wasn’t as busy but it was a short ride in the golf cart to get to the beach. My family and I loved it especially my 4 year old.

Cute condo

Condo was comfortable. I didn’t realize the 2nd guest room had been replaced with a king bed until we were on our way. Would definitely stay again.

Convenient

We enjoyed the convenience of this location along with the view from the back of the rental. The added golf cart was a plus! The downstairs area had a good set up. Upstairs shows two twin beds in one room and a queen in the second room in the pictures. However one room had a queen and the second room a king bed.

The townhouse location and view is awesome. The furniture was comfortable and relaxing. The only negative was the golf cart needs replacing. It is not dependable and the battery would lose power in short period of time. If you don’t need a golf cart I would highly recommend this unit.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: very good. The dryer needs to be replaced. It takes several cycles to dry. The place was extremely dusty. The blinds in both bedrooms were caked with dust as were the shelves above the dryer.

Overall Nice Unit

The unit itself is very nice. It was clean and as described in the listing. We checked in about 45 minutes after the check-in allowable time and received a surprised visit from the cleaning inspector. It wasn’t a big deal at all as she was very friendly and apologized for interrupting our stay. The golf cart was nice to have to get around the property. It could use a good detailing and a new key chain for the keys. A few throw blankets could also be added. The washer and dryer worked perfectly as well as all the kitchen appliances.

Overall decent stay, had a few issues.

Property is good, could use a little updating. Golf cart gave us problems but eventually starting working correctly. King bed upstairs broke but we were able to fix it, the slats under the box spring have some pegs that slid out and almost broke the slats when we were going to bed. We had to remove the mattress and box springs and reinsert the pegs which look to have been broken for a while. Parking can be an issue also, every day we were fighting for our spots. Other than that everything was fine. Want to give an honest review.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We used that cart to go to dinner the night we got here and ended pushing it halfway back, thats the only time it was used. They kept telling us they would fix it everyday and finally put new batteries on it the adternoon before we left. By that time we had plans for the evening and didn't get to use it. I had a VRBO rented and they were nice enough to help me find a place with a golf cart and let me transfer. I am so upset about all this. The unit was not very clean at all, I cleaned the kitchen before using it, and then we found a pair of dirty socks under the dining room table. They are still there because I was not touching them. They only refund $250.00 for the golf cart, whichwas ridiculous. This has been the most disappointing trip we've ever had in Destin, and we come every year.

Fall Break Trip

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in this property for six nights during fall break. The unit was perfect for our family size-wise (4 people). The unit is decorated very nicely, but it does need some TLC. As stated in another review, the doors are solid wood and beautiful, but they creak badly. I don't know if WD-40 would help? Also, the master bedroom bed was decent, but the extra bedroom beds were awful. The mattresses were uncomfortable. They creaked and were so loud, they could wake you up just moving from one side of your body to the other while sleeping. Even my kids noted how noisy the beds were. The master shower was not extremely clean - it could use new caulking on the bottom. The guest bathroom upstairs is missing the covers on the toilet seat bolts. The plastic pitcher in the kitchen had holes in the bottom of it. The tree walking from the patio to the grassy backyard needs to be trimmed. The unit is organized and decorated well, but small fixes would greatly improve the unit. The golf cart was perfect, as well as the back patio. The kitchen was well-equipped. The floors were clean. It is a good unit, but I did feel like we overpaid a bit.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This part of Florida is beautiful and fun for families and couples alike. I’m a frequent traveler and a frequent visitor to FL from neighboring Alabama. This rental provided a less than ideal place to call home for several days. First, the lighting outside the villa is non existent. There are broken boards along the fences beside your gate entry and the furniture on the front patio is mildewed. The wood in many outside locations is rotten. There is dated furniture throughout. The mattresses have a large dip in the middle. One of the beds kept falling off of the slats during sleep. There are multiple drips and leaks. One of the ground faulted outlets, which is installed crooked, in a bathroom kept tripping the breaker and you would have no power beside each of the sinks. We got ready for dinner in the kitchen and living room. We kept having to flip the breaker otherwise. The golf cart is ancient with balding and dry rotted tires. We had to call and get the tires blown up. I’ve never actually left a review before but I found this one necessary. We never let this stop us from enjoying our trip but would never stay in this location again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great time on our vacation. The condo is exactly as prescribed and had everything you need to prepare a meal. The back patio is nice and overlooks the water. We did not utilize the tram service but did utilize the golf cart. The golf cart was a life saver and would highly recommend a golf cart be included in your stay. The beach was about a 5 minute golf cart ride away. The beach was extremely crowded. There are multiple properties on the San Destin and they all feed into the same beach. We enjoyed banana boat ride, sunset dolphin cruise and ended the week with a fireworks cruise. Everyone in our party enjoyed the week!

I was hopeful the issues mentioned in past reviews had been corrected. When we arrived the condo was a little dirty. Dusty spice rack in kitchen. Found someone’s fake eyelashes on the console table and a dead frog in the living room. There were dead drain flies on the guest bath counter. That was really gross. Several electrical outlets didn’t work; none of them worked in the master bathroom. Golf cart was slow but we did enjoy having it. Door has electrical keypad lock. Check out time is 10:00AM but our code stopped working on the day of checkout an hour early at 9:00 AM. We almost got locked out loading up the car. Also, the lock on the sliding glass door is still broken and my kids actually slept on the couch because the guest bedroom beds were so uncomfortable. The furnishings are nice and updated but that’s about it.

The only complaint is the beds were uncomfortable and the parking was not great. At times had no place to park the golf cart. My son caught a huge fish in the pond behind the condo. Back porch was extremely nice. Plenty of room for 3 adults and 2 teens

We had an amazing trip! Loved the condo, perfect location, perfect size and loved the hardwood floors and it was clean. The golf cart they provided was great. They made sure we had everything we needed and were very friendly. The only negative i can say is the full bed and twin bed mattresses are awful. My daughter could not sleep on them so she slept on the couch. I would definitely suggest replacing them if you want return guests. A small child might be ok but an adult can not comfortable sleep on them.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit itself is lovely, I've stayed in Sandestin many times. The door to the deck is a big issue, needs replaced. My 86 year old mother could not have opened it herself. When I called for the few issues we had you responded quickly and I appreciate that. Mom thought the place needed a good dusting (the kitchen area decorations for sure). The neighbor insisted that you should not promise two parking spots and that it is a free for all according to the HOA. It was a fight all week to park the car next to the golf cart to save my mother from walking too far. He was rude. We went to Bijoux, Tommy Bahamas, Flemings, Pizza place by Publix, all very good. The doors could all use some WD40 as well. It is a great location, I've stayed in some nicer units there but as I said, you were responsive to our every email or text and I appreciate that very much!

Not clean

Check in was fine but got there to find place was not clean at all. I turned on the fan and dust went everywhere. Toilet in upstairs master did not work and TV did not pick up channels. None of the outlets in master bath were working. A TV was delivered and even after a call the next morning to the property manager no one showed to fix the toilet or the delivered TV. The best part of the whole place is the view. I'm so disappointed as the pictures made it look so well maintained. Reality is its not at all.

The back door doesn’t lock. There was mold in the master shower. The dresser drawers fell out.

We love the location. The check in was great. The communication on check in was great. The mold and the back door not locking was troublesome.

The photos need to be updated on the listing as they can be deceiving. Upon check in, we noticed the place needed a good wipe down. The furniture was really dusty. With COVID and the expectations of everything being completely clean and sanitized - you can tell it wasn’t. There is too much furniture shoved into the condo, most of it wasn’t functional for what we needed. No pantry to store your groceries in, yet a random hutch in the dining area next to the half bath. Didn’t make sense…The fridge and microwave appeared new, but the dishwasher and washer/dryer were like the ones I grew up using in the 80’s. The dryer would take several cycles to dry a load of laundry. Every single thing in the unit creaked-the stairs, floors, beds…We all came home with back aches from the horrible mattresses. Every time you turn over, you wake up the whole condo from the sound. There appeared to be mold on the ceiling in the dining room, which is right under the upstairs bathroom. There must be a leak that needs to be looked at. Lastly, the golf cart. The sad sad little golf cart. I submitted a complaint about it, but never spoke with anyone or had anyone follow up with me. Max speed of 11 mph when the speed limit is 23, is DANGEROUS and frankly quite embarrassing. People passing you, honking at you, and yelling at you like you are driving slow on purpose is awful to endure for 8 days. We would have to take my moms car plus the golf cart to the beach each day so we wouldn’t bog down the golf cart with our stuff. We couldn’t joy ride like everyone else because the line of traffic behind us would build up so quickly. Couldn’t even go to the Wharf on the cart because we feared we would get stuck having to get it towed back to the condo. The listing says you have 2 parking spots, but we rarely got to park by our condo due to everyone else parking there. Some of our pluses for the condo were: the outdoor shower in the little gated porch area. We didn’t realize it at first but it was nice to rinse off before tracking anything inside. It was also nice to have a hose to rinse our chairs and boogie boards off. The deck was nice and the new bbq looked nice as well. We didn’t use it, but it would have been nice to sit out there if it wasn’t so incredibly hot. The towels were nice, but didn’t have enough for the 5 of us, so we constantly had to wash them. The kitchen needed more than one dish towel to be able to wash and dry your dishes if you don’t use the dishwasher.
