Enjoyed our time at the cottage!!

This was an excellent vacation rental! The location was perfect and the host was phenomenal! We will consider staying here again on one of our many annual vacations to Sandestin!!

Brought my sister and Nephew for a long weekend and it was an amazing place. The golf cart was certainly a plus but auch an amazing location. Will be back foe sure

AMAZING!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay (family of 6). The home was very clean ( which is major for me)—was actually one of the cleanest properties that I have ever rented. The home is very well stocked with items that you may need for cooking, beach day, fishing, etc. The home is in a great location and getting to the pool, beach, Baytowne Wharf, etc was very easy and only took a few minutes. The golf cart was a great addition. We did not have to drive our car much because we could do so much with the golf cart. Communication with host was excellent from initial inquiry through check out. We would definitely rent this property again!

Wonderful stay!

This property was very clean and well maintained! There was plenty of room for our family of four. The fishing in the lake behind the house was not great but it was very windy during our stay in October so that could be part of the reason. We loved being able to use the golf cart to drive to the beach and Baytowne wharf! This was our second stay in the sandestin resort and we are very pleased with the location.

Wonderful location

Wonderful, would stay again!

Property was clean, exactly as described. Our family of 6 adults stayed here comfortably. Small room with bunk beds is small but we had 2 adult kids stay there and it was fine. Golf cart is wonderful to use and so easy to get to and from beach. There is also access to floats, chairs and beach umbrellas which was wonderful. Would definitely stay here again.

Enjoyed the stay

My wife and I got a great deal on this listing, and decided to book before someone else did. We stayed in Sandestin last year on Herron Walk drive and thoroughly enjoyed our stay with maybe a few issues. This stay at Sandpiper drive was wonderful. The host was so quick to respond and very friendly. The cleanliness of house was great, and the newer golf cart that we had was awesome. We will definitely stay again, and will recommend this house to anyone who is looking to have a worry free vacation in Destin Florida! If I could rate more than 5 stars I would!

Beautiful & Peaceful!

Beautiful home located on the peaceful bayside of Sandestin. The house was well maintained and has everything you could possibly need for a relaxing vacation at the beach. The bayside neighborhood was quiet, peaceful, and perfect for our family with two small children. The golf cart makes getting around the resort a breeze! The owner was prompt in answering questions prior to booking and after. They were also very gracious when we discovered we had accidentally ended up with one of their bath towels mixed in with our kids dirty clothes! (Our fault for not checking!). We will definitely be staying here again and look forward to our next trip!

Stay on the Bay

Great place to stay, exceptionally clean, extra comfortable beds, lots of beach accessories provided, and lots of room to have fun together. We loved being on the bay and fishing from our back porch...we actually caught some fish and even accidentally hooked a good-sized turtle. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils but no condiments or spices were left behind for use. The golf cart is huge (seats six) and has extra storage...we loved driving it to the beach and around the resort. All communications were quick and pleasant...thanks, Silvano!

Annual visit

The home is in a good location and is newly renovated. The third “ bedroom” is a closet with a bed. The rugs had food on them when we arrived and we asked for a broom but never received one. The golf cart would not start, but they promptly got us another one. There was never a problem with the ac. Wish the back patio had been blown off, the view of the lake is really nice. The beds were adequate and the master shower was really nice. Overall a good value for the price.

Exceeded our expectations. Perfect location

This was a beautiful property and a perfect location, it exceeded our expectations. Absolutely lovely inside. The location and access to the beach was great, about 4 minutes by golf cart and super easy to get to. Baytown Wharf is about 7 minutes. Grocery store is a little further by golf cart ( 10 minutes or so) and more car traffic, so we used the car for that trip. The property manager was extremely responsive. I would note that the 3rd bedroom is really the size and feel of a large storage closest that doesn’t have much room beyond the full size bunk bed… great for overflow of kids. It worked fine for us, but if we had had 3 couples, someone would be disappointed. Overall, definitely recommend this property and this property manager. Excellent experience! We will stay again!

Fabulous vacation home

This was the perfect space for our family of four adults and two children. It was very clean and peaceful, in a very quiet neighborhood. We arrived late at night, but check-in was easy as was our check-out six days later. Silvano is a very accommodating host, getting back with us immediately each time I contacted him. We were concerned that Hurricane Ida was going to interfere with our vacation plans, but Silvano worked with us to make everything turn out extremely well. The location is great as well as all the amenities. The golf cart was definitely a plus. We enjoyed the easy access to Baytown Wharf, the pools, and the beach. There were beach chairs, umbrellas, and toys at our disposal. We cooked several meals while there, and the kitchen was well appointed with what we needed. We definitely plan to return and would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a nice, peaceful place to relax and enjoy the Florida sun.

Weekend Trip

We chose to stay due to the location and complimentary golf cart. The home itself was great due to it being newly remodeled. It felt very clean. The furniture was great and the kitchen was fully stocked with utensils. The driveway, although shared, was spacious. The backyard was ready for entertaining with a grill and a fire pit. However, on our first initial walk through, there was a dirty (I assume leftover from the cleaning crew) washcloth in the master bathroom. We were excited to use the golf cart. We ensured it was on 100% when we left to drive the cart to the beach (across the street). Unfortunately, once the battery hit 65%, it kept getting slower and slower. It eventually died, even with charge left, on our way home and we had to push it back. It may need maintenance. Overall, this was a good stay, I wish we could have used the golf cart more, as it was a great selling point but didn’t live up to its full potential.

Nice home but A/C went out!

I decided to take my daughters down to Destin since we hadn’t been to the beach in a few years. Life was focused on college tours, travel sports and all the other things parents take on to keep kids busy and well-rounded. They grew up visiting SanDestin and 30a so trip back was apropos. The home is just like the pics, well appointed and in a convenient location as well. All was well until 3 days into our trip the A/C STOPPED working! We followed the rules left for guests- set it to 65 when we arrived and it was all good for two days. Out of no where the home wouldn’t cool below 84 degrees so I contacted the owner Silvano. He sent maintenance and had me cut the unit off stating it may have been frozen (the coils on the unit) I did that that morning before we had breakfast at the Donut Hole. We returned after the unit was assessed by maintenance and the temp was 83. We thought it was working. Proceeded to the beach and planned to cook dinner when we got back but no go the house was 85! I contacted the owner again by text w a picture of a thermostat he sent maintenance back out he said this time he put Freon it should work. We cleaned up from the beach but couldn’t stay inside and cook dinner as that would only increase the temperature so we had to eat out. Silvano called me back spoke with me assured me the issue was resolved and maybe it was just having a hard time cooling off bc it was hot. It’s FLORIDA it’s gonna be hot although this summer even more so. I know the symptoms that present when an hvac is either too small for a space or needs to be replaced bc I had to replace the one for my Master bd room and top floor when it wouldn’t cool and being on the 2nd floor of my home was unbearable. This needs to be replaced because what could have been an amazing trip became a sore spot when you went in to the home you paid for and it’s just as hot inside with little to no reprieve from rain or even at night. We were MISERABLE at night. That experience really overrode the comfort of the home. Hopefully Silvano fixes the issue and no one else deals with it.

The place was very clean, well stocked with kitchen supplies, beautifully and simply decorated, and amazing and calm view. There was an air fryer, crockpot, ice machine for use in the kitchen along with the grill outside. We loved the golf cart

Wonderful vacation home

My family stayed here for 10 days. The home was beautiful and exactly as described. We had everything we could possibly need. The pond in the back yard was a bonus. The golf cart was so fun to have access to and made a huge difference for us. The beach is a little ways away, but only 10 minutes or so on the golf cart. The pool that was close to the house was closed for remodeling, but there was another pool a little farther away that was open. The outside storage closet had everything you could possibly need for the beach. The neighborhood is beautiful, quiet and peaceful. The home is located close to everything. We had a wonderful time. The only negative thing was the bugs that would come flooding in anytime you opened the door at night, but the home owner has no control over that. We found leaving the outside lights off at night helped. The owner was very responsive, helpful and friendly. I would highly recomment this place to anyone.
