Seasonal Extended Stays (Snowbird Program) From November through February, select homes offer seasonal extended stays for reservations of 30 nights or longer, when available. For seasonal extended stays, the following additional cleaning fees apply: - Stays of 30 to 59 nights incur a $150 additional cleaning fee. - Stays of 60 nights or longer incur a $275 additional cleaning fee. - These required fees are applied after booking for reservations made on or after July 25, 2025.
Smoking Damage & Extra Cleaning A minimum charge equal to the standard cleaning fee will apply for damage, smoking, pet violations, or excessive cleaning. Additional charges may be assessed based on vendor invoices, remediation requirements, or repair costs. Coastline reserves the right to pursue reimbursement beyond platform limits when supported by documentation.

We had a great time at summer house townhomes. This place was clean, it has a nice pool and it is located within a short walking distance to the beach. I would definitely stay there again.
Nice and Comfy condo that is a short 5 minute walk to the beautiful beaches of Destin! The pool area was nice as well. Overall, a peaceful place to enjoy a 6-day vacation and look forward to coming again!
We rented a few weeks in advance of our stay. The unit had all of the basics. The management company was very responsive to our needs. The floor is fairly worn and unattractive. but most of the furnishings are in good condition. The interior paint is a drab shade of brown which is unattractive. The appliances are good/adequate. There are 2 1/2 baths including a shower in one bathroom and a tub/shower off the master bedroom. The sliding glass door to the rear patio is hard to use and looks out to a neighbors patio, which has lots of junk on it. It is maybe 3-4 tenths of a mile to the public beach. I would check on the refund policy before renting again. Still, I would recommend this unit if the price is in line with your basic needs.
Liked: Excellent location, grounds are clean, pool is central to the property.
Disliked: The condo looks like they decorated it in the mid 90’s from a bad thrift store.
The beds were some of the hardest, cheapest mattresses I’ve ever laid on.
The upstairs rooms stay stuffy even with a ceiling fan and box fan going.
The upstairs flooring is so soft it feels like it will fall through in spots.
We pulled out more than one dirty (food on it-not just spotty) dish.
The keurig spit grounds until it stopped working all together the first morning. Management offered to replace it, but we used the coffee maker because I don’t want strangers in the place I rented.

The floors were still wet when we walked in it after 5pm. Check in was at 4.
The condo has an overbearing HOA that absolutely polices and watches you the entire time you’re there. They’re oblivious when you don’t want to speak, talking to everyone and stalking the outside of the property constantly, when we dipped our feet in the pool (photo proof attached) a bit past closing the night we arrived, then we walked back to our condo, the sprinklers went off spraying us and we yelped (non-potable water to the eye is concerning), and we woke up to a text the first day of our stay telling us of the HOA, Walton sound ordinances, pool hours, and that further complaints would result in a fine, etc. Each night after I filmed as the huge house beside us loudly partied well past the time cited in the text.
Good location. Very dated, outdated decor condo but we were there just to sleep. Very good communication from property. The pool building was closed. Pool area very small and hard to access because the sliding glass door was broken and the weeds/grass was so tall where you had to walk through to get there. WiFi ended the morning we left. Good location to walk to beach or drive golf cart.
The home is as pictured. The door is very tricky as the lock didn’t work at all times. My family and I had a great time, and the location was perfect. I’d recommend the owner do some updating of the property as there were limited kitchen utensils, only 2 trash bags supplied, & no dish detergent (excluding exactly 1 pod daily for the dishwasher machine). Great for the price and location but definitely bring all supplies needed as nothing is really supplied.
We loved how the house was set up, it was the perfect size for us! The Kitchen, that Pantry, wow! Rooms, bathrooms spacious! Balcony nice! We enjoyed the pool, nice times always! We also met a nice gentlemen, he made our stay pleasant, he is a very nice person to talk to! We loved how everything was within walking distance from each other. The Beach was about a 5 minute walk from the house. Some other stores and restaurants like Pompano Joes, Whaletail, Frozen Dune Rolled Ice Cream, Alvin's Island as well. We enjoyed our stay, we will be back!! Thank you!!!

It was a nice stay for the price but I would not stay here again unless the sliding glass door is replaced. The manager was very attentive and the maintenance guy did all he could. The only way to the pool was that door so it was a huge problem. I would recommend this place if the door is replaced.
Property was close to ocean. Not happy that the patio door was under repair and not disclosed. Unable to access patio for evening sitting or visiting, had to walk all the way around building perimeter to reach pool.
So we had a great location and a good size place. Ok so the negatives: The front door and the half bath’s door was horrible. The doors need repainted or cleaned soooo bad. The laminate on the stairs were not done poorly. One white paint strip on the ceiling that doesn’t match the rest of the ceiling. A man came in and put the door blinds in while we were there and did not have a work shirt on. Who knows?! Wish there was a better way to get to the beach like a code or something. Would possibly stay here again.
My family and I spent 7 weeks at the property this last winter. It was exactly as advertised and what we expected! We had a couple small hiccups during our stay (i.e. - a door handle broke - no biggie right!) but the management company was very quick at responding and getting somebody out for repairs. The neighbors, and the community as a whole, was nice and quiet in the evenings and on the weekends. The two bedrooms were a good size and both had roomy closets for hanging clothes or storing luggage during our stay. It was a very quick walk to get to the boardwalk and beach and the pool area on the property, although not huge, was well maintained. There was also a lot of green space on the property to play catch with the kids or toss a frisbee around. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Destin and can't wait to make it back some day.

I chose this condo mainly for the price, location & that there was nobody above us. We've been going to Destin the last 8 years during Spring Break. Usually we stay on the far west end (Crystal Beach) area. However the last 3 years we've had people above us who seemed to be up all night moving furniture, etc. This unit was in a quiet area. My only complaint in this area was the garbage truck every morning. I believe it was 6:30am & the people next door who got up at sunrise. Otherwise the location was great. It helped our walk to the beach with the gate open near the trash dumpster. There is a block walk to the beach but if you talk kindly to someone at the gate for Emerald Shores, you might just get a gate code ;)
We enjoyed working with the Property Managers. They were very attentive to our needs.
The unit was a great walking distance to Circle K, Bad Ass Coffee, DQ & Alvin's Island.
My one disappointment would be that the pool is not heated. The temps were only a high of 65 & windy during March. Too cold for the pool water & too windy/cold for the beach. This would be the only reason that I would not rent this condo again. Everything else met our needs.
This unit is quietly kept close to everything. It is behind Alvin's Island. It is approximately a 5 minute walk from the unit to the beach.
The unit could have been a little cleaner for our liking but it was clean and well maintained. The pool and laundry room is steps outside the back door. Laundry is $1.50 per wash and $1.50 per dry. Bring your own detergent.

The condo is very simple and located a couple of blocks from the beach, just as described in the listing. I’ve seen bad reviews, but everything that we experienced was what we expected based on the property that we rented. It’s not a four-star hotel, but it was plenty sufficient for us during our vacation.
A bit of a walk to the public beach. Right behind an Alvin's Island. Only thing that was an issue, no bedding for the pull out couch (went to Walmart). We enjoyed our stay. Plenty of room and bathrooms to accommodate my large family.

The place was okay, definitely nothing fancy. I do feel like more items should have been available to us as in toilet paper (less then half roll when we arrived), we added rags to the stock pile, towels are very limited, there were no cleaning supplies (dishwasher, dish liquid etc. trash bags). It was somewhat of an inconvenience to have to go buy ALL of these items. If I had known I would have brought them from home. The 1 min walk to the beach is somewhat true if you have someone there to open someone else’s private gate access other then that, its definitely 1 min to drive to public parking! Overall the place was nice and the people that live there in the community was very sociable and informative. Yes, I would book this property again knowing what I know now.
