"Slightly out of the way and not geared up for Western tourists. We were the only ones staying there. The room was OK but the balcony unfortunately overlooked a building site. There was no bucket (for soaking clothes) and the bathroom didn't have an extractor fan. "The service was very good. Folks were helpful. Though sometimes my requests weren't well understood.
The facilities weren't great. I had to change my room because the toilet seat wouldnt shut properly and the shower wouldnt turn on properly. The new room was ok, but i dont think it was vented correctly because it would sometimes have a sewage smell in the room. This was especially bad on my last night there.
Food was ok. Nothing spectacular, but not bad.
Overall, a serviceable and not a terrible stay. But I wouldn't be eager to stay there next time.
Oh, and there is no pool at this hotel. The pool is at The Crescent, and guests are allowed to go over there (not the same thing as having one on property)."
"The staff are all absolutely amazing, so friendly and polite. The hotel is exceptionally clean. They go out of their way to help you. The breakfast was fabulous, so many varieties to cater for all and again the staff serve your every need. The only, very minor point I have is the bathroom, the layout is a bit odd and the shower doors have a gap which means water leaks out all over the bathroom."
